I wonder now what sin is worse
As we destroy this fragile earth
Who should we condemn the most? Who curse?
The careless or he who cares not for its worth?
When we misfile our plastic waste
Do we sin more than those who double wrap;
When we buy packaged goods in daily haste
Is it our fault we fall into the plastic trap?
And when we recycle those plastic trays

it is all bleak broken; half-hell-heard House, blight blasted, a
sound spoke maelstrom where we see no substance swirling over heads
and hearts unheard - untending - unending obstacles to speech where
he, bright-tied bright-eyed, oversees the game's communication farce fail
debate: debate dire-drowning in the noise.
it is all blame blighted; w...

It all happens quickly,
the way our bodies fold,
warm up to the concept
of a morning
rush. We forget sleep in the shower;
we contemplate coffee on the balcony,
then tie our shoelaces inside
keeps me from swearing
at the bad drivers in the concrete storm,
and that is the little difference
It’s day 28 of...

I will! I will join Juvenal
at the North world’s end
on the frozen ocean ice
if one more lie is penned
another argument to slice
our country from its friend:
to make us pay the price.
Enough! We see the trend
let that one vote suffice
another will just offend
divide and not entice.
Let the peoples’ will transcend,
better not to ask them twice!
We’re doomed to...

Can it possibly be true
How the twelve months flew
Really twenty-four have passed
In terror of being outcast
Since that dire vote to leave
The parties it seems must all deceive
Mindless of the real cost
All thoughts of governance long lost
So the lady May survive
Gainst all that ministers contrive
Regardless of the pundits' sense
Ever blind to the expense

This poem is really just for us older brits... who can still remember the good old days.
Children of the 'sixtys' old age hippys rule! Happier days..
THE GOON SHOW
Trying to find some humour in this world that seems quite mad
never was a problem when I was a lad.
I used to laugh at lots of things that struck me rather funny
Humour now I cannot find, for simply love nor mon...

It was black and white
for a while
Until the first line
Then the pale grey people
the people who could only draw
a black cross
in a white box
began to sense
shading the palette
The colours of debate
the harsh red of anger
the yellow of injustice

Angry confused divided and misdirected
With morality low and aggressiveness high
Shallow and impulsive realms of perspective
Violence and crime progressively worsening
The streets set the scene for these men to rehearse in
Society eludes a self destructive way of life
& some young men savagely taken by the pierce of a knife
Where art thou compassion, you’ve lost your empa...

What can I say I'm a little fucking jaded.
Must be stemming from the lies that you stated.
Yesterday's punks should've been today's politicians.
At least then to my generation they would listen.
You're killing our planet and bankrupting your people.
You leave us dying in a ditch and swear that we're equal.
Call me a millenial and I'll wear that shit with pride.
Please don't confuse me with ...

So I guess that they've imprisoned us into this predetermined preposition
When the truth is there so blatantly but we can't help but not to listen
Because ignorance is bliss so we'll stay blissfully unaware
As to the GMO's in all our food and the geo engineering in the air
I suppose we'll go organic and refuse the water from the tap
What about the metals likened to a subtle che...

They come together
in this place outside
yet at the centre of our world.
We have asked of them
Have demanded nothing of them
except our future.
Who are these gods in whom we place our trust?
Who are these gods that we have selected?
These are the senate that we once elected:
The senators that ...

Common sense would dictate
That when a website uses the concept of pounds...
...I think they're pounds? Maybe?
Well, that should indicate the base of operations; Britan.
Maybe just.....generally European?
My knowledge of globes, that explain the world in quilted patches is small. I only recall that lines we're drawn with sticks at some point and dec...

They say 5 a day and a number of vaccines are what you need to be healthy
They say that cancer can't be cured and that a plant should be outlawed, but what's the reality
They say we need to go to war but we've heard it all before, and it's not how it should be
They say we need to vote so get in line, as if we have a choice this time, they act like we'...

I've been trying to explain for so long that you are more,
You are more than a 9-5 dead end job
You are more than a number placed on this earth.
You have much more to you than you aspire,
Much more to you than they aspire for you.
Now I don't know about you,
But I know that as a race we should be fed up,
Fed up with all the bullshit that has been placed upon us.
Fed up of all the...

No home, no job, just 12 good friends.
Betrayed by one who swore they never would.
Died too soon for pointless reasons.
What if God the NHS was one of us?

I'm from a land where,
Two girls on the bus to school is revolutionary,
Where we bury boxes full of our still born children,
'Cos experimental biological weapons more or less killed them.
Plus the starvation, and working on the opium plantation,
Whilst Halibuton gets paid to rebuild my nation,
MPs with hidden interests plan my leader's assasination.
From London to Lo...
