For Clare
Nightmares diminish in the depths of my dreams
As the sun breaks the mournful night
The day envelopes the lonesome sky
Darkness open it’s wings and takes flight
The beauty of the dew, sparkling in the light
The warmth of the radiated heat
The splendour of life marching forth
In comparison is a futile feat
For the beauty of a beginning
Can never compare to the ...

Ophelia
Days began and nights would turn
Through endless cycles of despair
The living dream, compelled by hope,
Carried away and lost in ethereal life.
Shattered byways that led to want and love
Broken by lies and embittered deceit
With the emptiness rotting inside.
Frustration abounded and sank In my heart
Fulfilment seemed to slip through fingers
As the quicksand o...

To Eat Or Not To Eat
I think of you way more than I probably should
I wish so much now that I somehow could
Turn back the hands of time, start again- rewind
Pull back the impulse, erase the hunger
Let logic and level headedness put my eagerness asunder
The state of being to which I now aspire
Is to be free of this want, all this desire
The thrill of longing, not so thrilling anymore
My hear...

For you
When crowds disappear and the sun never sets
When shadows fall further behind you
When Christmas lights shine like my heart in my chest
Bathed in the splendour, I will find you
As each day breaks and when night shines black
And the stars dance brightly before you
As each touch shivers, the souls of the lost
In the eyes of an angel, I will see you
From the depths ...

Empty Hands
Pain exists inside the heart
That mourns the missing day
Emptiness, holding all that’s lost,
Fingers white, grasping air, slipping away
Darkness surrounds all we see,
Shadows stolen from what could have been
Extinguish a flame, smoke filling our souls
As expectance is hidden and unseen
Embers remain in the sorrowful ash
As the wind lifts up the light of our e...

NO CHANCE
NO MORE CHANCES TO WIN
GAME IS OVER, MY DEAR
THE CHANCE IS ONLY ONE
YOU MISSED IT LAST YEAR
NO MORE TIME TO PLAY
SAME GAME FROM THE BEGINNING
I DON'T WANT TO STAY
TO WATCH YOU, MY DARLING
NO NEED TO WAIT FOR THE END
NO MORE CHANGES TO COME
GOOD BYE.. SEE YOU MY FRIEND
NO DANCE WHERE NO "DRUMS"

The choice
Translation of my Arabic Poem (“The Choice”)
Who, in the World, chooses his birth?
Who chooses his family and children?
Who chooses his fate and country?
Who chooses the time to go to heaven?
But it is possible to choose our day
To sincerely care about family and work
This will be the first right step to our future
To achieve our goals while we're alive
Your name and countr...

am i selfish?
Note: there is some strong language in this. it's not too bad. it's not too excessive, either. one word in here twice, i think. and if you're wondering, yes, the colors mean something. and yes, im genuinely asking a question to you, the reader. and to the person this is about. but i pray he never reads or finds this. anyway, enjoy.
Am I selfish for wanting another hug?
I handed you the...

will blue turn into purple?
You were wearing purple today. Purple is going to be ×××'s color now. But blue has always been mine. That's how I knew I was ready to give you that letter. You were wearing my color...
Your eyes were a brighter blue today. After you came in from having a cigarette, you walked past me, then paused. Coffee and tobacco smoke. That's what you smelled like. That's my smell now.
"Just under a minu...

Talk of Love
I talk about love
as my heart calls its name,
but shards of the past
cut with bitterness.
And tears that run
are far from sweet,
salty to my lips,
but the light still glows
over the vacancy sign.
But part of me has surrendered,
and life goes on.
And I drift in solitude,
but I still talk about love.
Maybe if it hears my voice,
it will come ...
