Biography

I have been writing Poetry for as long as I can remember. I was determined not to be influenced by anybody or anything at the beginning of my creative journey. Now I am open to influences from all genres. I particulary like to use images to bring my poems to life. I am currently on a mission to write a hit song.

Samples

New Year Blues I have got the New Year Blues, On a great big low – dazed and confused, Man, I am feeling pretty down, Whatever happened to party town? Give me a lift for God’s sake, My heart is aching so badly, I think it is going to break, I have got the New Year blues, Whatever happened to my dancing shoes? Come on baby relight my fire, Get me out of this mire, Let me escape from this zoo, I have got the New Year Blues. Tom Doolan

On Robin Williams - links in life even now.
Strange but an online check for Terry Wogan led
to a Parkinson clip - which in turn led to a 2002 interview by MP of both Robin Williams and
Stephen Fry. What value for money! Two amazing talents in action in one programme - now in a clip on Youtube. And so sad with the
knowledge of what has happened since. Perhaps it is just as well we have no ability to foresee the future.
