My Name Is 'Money'

Hello, my name is ‘Money’ and I live in 12a.

This is my new home, I moved in yesterday.

My new owners are called Michael and Fon.

They named me Money, cos they have none!

I’m a little kitten, I am about 2 months old.

I’m friendly and playful, I’m as good as gold!

Today I went downstairs to the shop below.

Were my neighbours smiled and said ‘hello’!

I love to play with Mike’s Kicker Boot laces.

And I love to hide away in obscure places!

I love to climb up on to the couch and chairs.

And I love my little cat nap on the stairs!

I watch the County Road traffic hurry on by.

I look up at the birds, and wish I could fly!

I love my new home already, happy as can be.

Mike and Fon have showed they really love me!

Hello...thank you for reading and the lovely comments, yes the name Money is to say I have always have 'Money' at home now, which is not normally the case, he will be a house cat, too rough an area were I live, lots of street strays and far too much busy traffic. But, he has a 3 storey flat in play in, he has 3 beds, (4 inc mine which he prefers!) and seems to love his new home! He is very affectionate, follows me everywhere and runs to the front door to greet me when I come home, that is all very flattering of course, but on the other hand I hope he is not lonely when I go out and leave him (which is for about 2/3 hours maxium) New pic is my Granddaughter with Money!

Hi Mike, "Money" is such a cool name! And I love the line, "They named me Money because they have none!" That's very clever, Mike. I imagine when you say, "I have money at home," but the people you're talking to have no idea what money is. It's funny, but it also sounds like a wish or hope at the same time (Sorry, I'm not sure about the term, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say). By the way, I have a cat that is about 4 months old now. She has a color that is almost similar to money. Also, she is very active; she always follows wherever my feet go and sometimes climbs on them. I think having a cat at home is a kind of therapy; it’s a special joy to have a furry friend by our side.
