WHAT A MAN NEEDS TO KNOW
I've spent a pleasant few days re-reading Bill Bryson's “The Body: A Guide for Occupants”.
Absolutely riveting. Pages fly by. His skill is to make anything he writes unputdownable, despite you having no previous interest in his subject.
But on one aspect of his writings I find myself skipping over it – female genitalia.
I have caught sight in this section of stuff about pudenda, the cervix, vulva, vagina, clitoris, mons pubis, labia and so on. I suppose he will have gone into detail into their descriptions and functions.
But like most men I have never needed this information and, at 73, I don't suppose I ever will. So far as I can make out Our Gert's lady parts reside under a strip of land The Forestry Commission looks after.
And that's all I need to know.

And there's me thinking that Mons Pubis was somewhere on the moon.😐
