Poetry Blogs (sick)
Each day gets darker than the last few decades of days.
Each day's gloom makes me turn like in a grave
And so does the thought of a moment in another day.
Each day brings me closer to a grave
I can literally feel the drag.
A sick man lives on.

The benefit system is a joke
It pays the disabled less
Than those who doss, drink and smoke
Pre-paid prescriptions for those who don't need it
And those who need them, struggle to pay, ending up sick
Medical necessities are not very cheap
Even painkiller prices are getting quite steep
And for those who's health is farthest from good
Its hard to get by when you can't walk far, before falli...

This sickly feeling i have inside
because i myself lack basic pride
I am upset when i go out
in fear that others may speak or shout
Yet this one lie had gotten to me
It's made my life a misery
I hide myself from everyone
I deprive myself that natural fun
If you look at me you'll see nothing
But in privacy i do everything
i fill my body with foods and cry

It was literally th eworst
and my sister says her life is cursed..
The first day we lived their was crap
it certainly felt like a trap
The tennants where junkies and thugs
who tried to sell us their drugs
it started with brian scott
who clearly lied alot
he showed up late
he said it was great
and i was left in a state
The plumbing was terribly bad
The place i...

Today’s News Game
The woman who read the news smiled
and got excited by the prospect
of what was to come.
He proudly watched over
the seeds that he had sewn
in the name of his culture.
“Don’t point that thing at me,
I had enough of it last time”.
They watched on with blank faces
and clapped in the right places
and some were secretly ...

All the faith carried in your soul
all the morphine lightening the load
they play a strange sad game
they lie in bleak dark ways
I listened to the doctor speak
while you read some ancient tome
and, yes, you know your body well
but pain isn’t the cause
This belief takes its small toll
the colour and the hope both drain away
defeatedly you feel you’re fading
But you’re not fading

Once-upon-a-time, a barman worshipped the Sun.
Worked nights so didn’t see much of it
but in his head he’d got stories of
the Fire God supreme,
vanquishing monsters who'd eat out your dreams.
He called the Sun ‘Hero’,
believed it had six pairs of arms,
giant wings of flame
and the handsomest nose in the galaxy.
Made moons blush

All Butt All
Barely bothered as he lay down his weary head
Life was so much hassle, he just wished he could be dead
The medics kept his ticker beating as it should
But at what quality of living, he felt none understood
It's a dog's life he thought with such irony
If I had but been a dog, wouldn't they end this misery
Brighter days were now few and so far between
His memories s...
