Being a parent
Jump in puddles and make a mess
This life is to be lived at its best
Play in the sunshine and dance in the rain
Share in the joy and guide them through pain
We teach them to listen, we teach them to talk
We carry and hold them and teach them to walk
For all the manners we teach them use
We must remember to use them too
We must stop and listen and see through their eyes

Where You Begin
The first time
Is a pin prick
To unstitch
Your skin
To feel yourself
Begin
You search your being
You are it:
Coursing through yourself
The second time
You search inside
A stranger
Behind the corner shop
You find where he begins
Adrenaline!
But come back,
Stinking of rot
Void of thought
To feel what?
What are you searching for?
To begin ag...

We Feel
Some time ago
My skin turned wooden
My feet moulded into one
Foot
I slipped
And smudged the painted grid
On the marble floor
Another time I fell
And did not stop
I rolled right off the board
It was not a conscious decision
To spectate rather than participate
But it happened
As it does to many
Who give up on giving
When you undertake solely seeing
You relinquish being
But not feeli...

Martina McBride had it right
This day
So many celebrate
But in between complain
Give them holidays
And they're content to stay
Stagnate and play
Why complain?
I just want change.
I want to fight
I want to see us choose
Choose what is right
You want rights?
Then fight.
You can't demand your rights
Then take away theirs
Everyone even
Everyone same
Everyone allowed
To pla...

Against
Your boot is pressed against my neck
While you peer into the horizon,
A beautiful symphony of warm and cool colors
Creating a mesmerizing dawn.
My gasps of anguish are muffled by your song.
I don't know how to get to my knees,
Let alone stand, but I'll try.
My face grinds against the ground
Attempting to make sand of stone.
You press down harder against my neck.
The pressure is astoundi...

HELP!!
Is it a Curse .. or God's Grace
To live alone heart and place
Suffering what I always face
Hopeless to be myself again
Are these changes good for me
To be lonely always or not to be
To live away of what I see
I lost my hope and brain
Sadly to wake up and sleep
Painful to feel yourself cheap
Living alone hurts in deep
I wish to know why, but i...

Laugh to Live.
Happiness, in hands for you.
If you decided, not to be sad.
As a cup of water, to drink.
To clean your thoughts, to be glad.
Sadness, does not need to broach.
It always knocks, worried heart.
But Happiness, with a golden coach.
Asks, to ride happiness cart.
The Brain is yours, “to make use”.
Positively, think of your own.
Feel your value, never abuse.

Feel It
Feel it with all your might
Feel it with all that’s insight
Feel it tonight
Feel it regardless of your fight
Feel the laughter and pain hitting right
Feel it like the wind lashing off the winter night
Feel it again
Feel it over and over again
Feel it like you can’t pretend
Feel life like it’s your friend
Feel it for all that’s lost with no end
Feel it again
Feel it while delivering...

The Shield
How can I say how I feel,
Describe words to you that you will understand,
If I myself don't understand...
There are days I just want to scream.
When all I crave is to be heard,
For someone to simply understand how I feel.
Someone who grabs my hand without needing to be asked,
Simply because I need to feel the support.
It is so easy for me to say everything's okay...
