Sweet Contentment
Sweet contentment I do revere,
It gives me hope and takes my fear.
When I'm content I feel so fine.
It makes me feel the world is mine.
Sweet contentment I love in each situation,
And gives for my life such appreciation.
I feel that I can do almost anything,
And of the world I am the king.
Sweet contentment I surely treasure,
It is feeling that I cannot measure.
It makes me feel safe...

How To Be Alone
Waiting for a friend
sipping tea, sunglasses on
passers-by double and disappear
as reflections in shop windows
everything lit golden
then dimmed behind my lenses
I stir the drink some more
Waiting for a friend
they’re half an hour late now
I barely notice
just watch the people
let my mind wander
the liquid turning in the cup
And it hits me, squarely, there
on the corner by the cr...

Two way conversation
A two way conversation is something very nice,
Because you both can talk in a way that is very concise,
One way talking could be something so unkind,
But the art of conversation can help you with your mind,
To fuse two minds together can become one,
If you do your pain will be gone,
To share and care is a special thing indeed,
It takes the nucleus to plant the seed,
What yo...

Bending reality
Your own mind is yours to keep,
as long as you don't decide to follow the sheep,
Start bending all reality, this will give you your own normality,
Dance in your own style and you will stand out a mile,
Sing songs where ever you go and put on your own one man show,
Do what you want, will make you full of glee,
Then you will find you will be absolutely free,
Freedom is a state of mind and thi...

The Nucleus
If you find love for the duration,
This you may find will benefit every nation,
It begins with the nucleus,
And that nucleus is me,
All I want out of life is a cigarette and a cup of tea,
Anything more would be great,
But we must rid the world of hate,
Love is the answer to all things,
If you have true love then you will live the life of a king,
There will be justice for all,
And if you ...

Fortune favours the brave
My life is beautiful my life is fruitful,
Shout from the highest steeple,
All you peacful people,
"CELEBRATE YOUR LIVES HERE AND NOW"
Milk love just like a cow,
Fortune favours the brave,
So don't be anyones slave,
Live your own life and don't copy no one,
And do your own thing till all the pain has gone,
Don't be superficial or act like a sheep,
Then you will find yo...

The Promise
It has been so many years
since that moment of truth
when finally you were truly alone
It has been so many years
since you flew with the flames
as the organ played
something
and I looked out at the distant horizon
seeing you there drifting away
into finality
It has been so many years
since I made you a promise
I could not keep
You said
Do no...

Anti-climatical paradox
It is an anti-climactical relapse into the repression and suppression of life.
You'll be on a cloud of positivity held in the captivity of optimism.
And then as if your minds been hit by a tun of bricks that indicate the euphemism of the candidness of reality.
As you get older you realise that the higher you climb the further it is to fall,
so you get indecisive between the f...

3am
I'm lying awake at 3am
Why am I never intoxicated with positivity?
Why aren't I a fountain of enthusiasm?
Why can't I see the euphemistic light in this unilluminated darkness?
I'm lying awake at 3am
All of my uncertainties are overwhelming
The formidable anxiety I've become acclimated with seeps in through open wounds
And yet I've learned to find tranquility in this res...

Another Day Of Bliss
Streaks of tepid sunshine
with magical golden spell
Provoke latent indolence
for fresh fervor compel
Scatter of nomadic clouds
of varied shape and form
Reflect strokes of artistry
nature aiming to perform
Trees full with mangoes
heralding in joyous time
Cuckoo cooing in concord
some singing choir sublime
Distant sight of g...

the rub
It’s that time of the morning
when widows walk their dogs
avoiding the space at the breakfast table.
When frustrated wives ride horses
down the valley, just for the rub.
The beach is empty and the sea is warm.
I paddle and invent a song.
Sitting on a damp cold rock
I let the wind dry my feet
and I think
life is not so bad
for a woman witho...
