Raw eggs
I tried beautiful,
I tried pristine,
I was no good at it
I’m not neat within
I’m not “clean”
Even externally, I cannot master
Clearing every bit of clutter
I’m raw, like an egg
It’s not pretty to have a cracked head
But if I don’t
I’m practically dead
As inanimate and detached as my wooden bed
To be raw is
Painful,
Ugly,
Messy,
But it’s rich with fee...

I stare out onto the rugged hills
dappled with rays of the sun
glancing its temperate eye around
the woolly welcoming clouds,
holding the earth in its warm glare,
animating those beautiful pikes.

My Baby Boo
Today my heart felt a blow,
By a view so divine.
I let my emotions flow,
Like a 30 year old wine.
There it was in that tiny box,
With pulses of energy shooting through,
That blurry image came across,
Like the inside of a Great Gray Kangaroo.
I felt her hand touching mine,
Held her hand - fingers entwined,
Watching my angel wriggle and shine,

VIEW FROM THE MOUNTAIN
After climbing so many thousands of feet up the mountain I have finally reached the top, the view is like another world with so many things visible from where the eagles live.
A fine layer of cloud makes the ground seem hazy and non distinct like a fading memory you want to remember.
