Paranoia
25.03.20
When your brain is used to trickery
It eats itself alive
Deceit is all you know
And the way you have survived
Be vigilant with friends
And vigilant with foes
On guard for lies so constantly
Analysis in tow
Are they truthful in their words?
Your brain it analyses
Putting piece and piece together
A puzzle it disguises
There's a slip says your mind

First Grade Pandemic
One thing I now know for sure,
a pandemic fuels power trips and paranoia.
Takes you back to first grade when everyone,
except your best friend, had cooties.
Playground bullies made all the rules,
their favorite game was keep away.
You better listen to them,
or you will rue the day.
You wore Halloween masks,
through suffocating sweat.
Take it off,
no candy you get.

Photographs
in the room full of camera’s
unexposed photographs turn,
they do not stay still- how they breathe
to blur the printout- this memory,
you could not memorise- make new,
find another clear and clear your
mania from here, your camera,
stop pondering and pausing
for a better shot, searching
for the glare that will not give,
you cannot paste a glowing prism
to stick your...

Outside of Herself
"Find yourself"
You can misplace your mind
But
You can't forfeit your mind

Mine is bulletproof,
Double-glazed,
Soundproof,
In here
I can stay outside of myself
I can step outside of the world
Oops
Yesterday,
I watched us having a conversation
From my window panes
Through the heavy glaze
It made me feel some type...

Highs and Lows, Frogs and Toads
5th grade was my downfall
Anxiety coupled with A.D.D
Made for the perfect broken marriage.
6th grade was calm.
I had everything under control
And I was taking medication
But 7th grade was morbid.
A child,
One only the devil could produce,
Had arrived with the diseased name
Of Depression.
8th grade was the year Depression made friends
Suicidal Tho...

Eyes in the Darkness
Through the window
a star less night,
only gloom and stillness.
A shadow
moves in
the hollow.
Across the clearing
a pair of red
flaming eyes!
They seem to
float through the
air. The
fear, the horror!
I close my
eyes afraid to
look. Afraid of
what I might see!
I...

The Communications Trilogy Pt:1 Television
Hi everybody
So I have written a trilogy of poems based on the subject of communication. I have rather inventively decided to call them The Communications Trilogy.
The first on the Trilogy is Television, whilst I am someone who is generally pessimistic about the media and government and don't really believe a word of what we are told, I do suffer from a subconscious paranoia. Beaten i...
