Breaking free

Help me, to make it out alive

Help me, to live it out in quite

Help me, to hold my tongue without a bite

Help me, to get peace inside.

You said it's upto you,

Never ever thought how I can manage to,

Need some peace need some time,

Blown myself getting on mine.

"Peace out", "Peace out" was your words,

Getting frustrated was I curse.

Now keep your promise help...

The allotments will never be the same.

Fred was digging a new bed when he

Found it,

Uprooting silver collars, bracelets, armlets

Finger rings too along with

Amber beads not unlike flax seeds.

Mutterings of treasure trove sprout darkly

In the other sheds where his

Neighbours want their share but

Greenhouses grow security guards now while

                                 (This is my real curse)
Insomnia a horrid curse

Is it a Curse .. or God's Grace

Sadly to wake up and sleep
Painful to feel yourself cheap
Living alone hurts in deep
I wish to know why, but in va...

Rainfall Tonight

entry picture

Let me return to past, let me recall tonight
With me cries, each corner and wall tonight

What let flowers to slit throat in my garden
Who has invoked the curse to fall tonight

My screams have awoken people from sleep
Separation to be mourned in rainfall tonight?

He might be Abbas-e-Ali collecting tears
Mourners have sighted him tall tonight

Mirza, your phone is ringing since evenin...

Cursed Be He That Moves My Bones

entry picture

Cursed Be He That Moves My Bones

“Good friend for Jesus sake forbeare,
To dig the dust enclosed here.
Blessed be the man that spares these stones,
And cursed be he that moves my bones.”

How often did I studiously fail

to untangle your brier patch of words.

Encouraged by my teachers to prevail

in setting free the frustrated songbirds,

so that their melody could swell the heart

a curse - for the mildly irritating

For those who’ve meddled, ired or slighted,

For those who’ve peeved or pinched or blighted

Or fibbed or fooled or faked - or worse

Upon them ever be this curse:

May your earnest endeavours all end in farce.

May your nostrils migrate to just south of your a**e.

May all your teabags get stuck in the spout.

May your luck and your toilet roll always ru...
