In this cycle of life, I look to see a land

Where peace, love, and purity was created by God's hands
The smell of tamarind, incense and many other things fill the air
I don't care just happy to be here

The bull goes where ever, the dog sleeps in the middle of the street.
A family of five balance on a motorcycle defying gravity
The blind *guru listens to the clink of a coin.
*Aap ke lie gu...

IndiaPoetry 2016

She got a hand for every one of her virtues
Showing goals a path for the soul
There is nothing she can do

A goddess with a wealth of spiritual beauty
The moon will dance for her

Golden completion the lotus blooms for her
Not obsessed with what she gives or what she gets
Everyone loves her children are named after her

She gives good luck with ever touch
Wisdom and purity ...

The sun pokes its face.
Through the gray haze
From the rough top
I sit in my own peace.

Morning over Ahmedabad
Above the sandalwood trees
The feeling that is only found in dreams

The baritone call of a waking bull
The buzz of a motorcycle passing by
In the market debates of the price of dates
The clinking of the spoon stirring the mornings' chi

Morning over Ahmedabad
It is much more th...

Bangladesh - Poem by Marie

Oh Bangladesh I loved you and the Bay Of Bengal
my dream was to visit but my children where small
To fish in Noakhali, then lay all day in the sun
My true love said that life there was so much fun

Alas like all things my dream came to an end
The love that you send me was only to lend
I never made him mine you see
he returned to quickly to his land by the...

In Mumbai

entry picture

When the Sky is dark blue
And the Dawn becomes true
Just pray, same as I do
May my wish touches you

When sun rises in the Sky
And the birds ready to fly
Just remember what I say
We'll meet, surely, in Mumbai

When you stay lonely at night
And you wear your lovely white
Just be sure I'm always right
You're lovely dream on sight

Kerala Visit

entry picture

kerala is peaceful and beautiful
in all cases and places
Keralite people are so cheerful
I can read "welcome" on faces

The Green Carpet of all guests
and pure nature to enjoy
generous people happily smiling
at any time of any day

Life in Kerala based on love
and clear hearts for caring
I love Kerala more than enough
I'll come back sure for sharing

Dreams of Pushkar

Dusk falls and bells toll,

echoing across the ghats.

Holy men chant their prayers,

fruit bats soar and glide

across the moonlit, silky grey sky

and a heady, heavy perfume drifts in the cooling breeze.

Relaxing, remembering the bells,

the drums and pipes of Pushkar's bustling daytime.

Sleep will come soon.

Agra's Jewel

Our hotel - a hermetically sealed bubble of glass,

concrete and polished floors,

is chilly and anonymous.

But as dawn blossoms quietly

we approach the Jewel of Agra.

A grieving husband remembers

with a monument to love:

the Taj Mahal.

It radiates a powerful aura of peace,

delicate and glowing

in the silver light.

Birds flit across the roof

and I stand,

How many pilots died and old aircraft lost when they flew over jagged snowy peaks in the remotest corners of the world? Doing a dangerous job knowing the risks and trusting in fate and luck to bring the through. Some never made it, there planes impacting vertical mountain sides in sickening crashes. Bodies lost forever, frozen in the time of death. Icily cold and otherworldly ...
