It was the night before Xmas and all was quiet throughout the house
include Dad who was asleep drunk on Jack Daniels Honey on his chair.
He never saw the zombies enter the house, wearing Christmas hats
but when he blearily opened his eyes, he mistook them for Santa’s elves.
“What have you got for me this year then,” he muttered…

I trudge across these ancient lands
Where crops are reared by human hands
And all I leave are footsteps deep
a crop the scythe will never reap
I see the changing seasons turn
The new shoots grow, bonfires burn
From the soil the world will grow
I track the sacred rivers flow
These things of beauty pass me by
I have no soul I cannot die

He made a decision to clean the factory chimney out.
Did he know it would be messy?
I look out of my window and see so much smoke emanating from the chimney.
It blanketed the fields in particulate sulphate alkali acid.
I was so happy! I could be a zombie now.
I ran down to the fields and danced naked in the grass.
I was in a real pea souper of man made chemical arsenic fog....

You don’t look back
You can’t hear what I’m saying
Blinkered, you start to backtrack
Into your world of playthings
I wish you’d join me
You never know what you might see.
A thousand fountains – a million forms of ecstasy
A trillion ways to make your brain cells dance
But you won’t even try, your pupils are too blind
