The Aftermath

Stars fall from the sky

And congregate on the ground to erect an ivory palace,

As bright as day, as searing as the desires

Entombed deep under the earth's surface.

It doesn't take nightfall

To lure them inside-

The eager, the crafty, the venal, the mortal.

Every nugget of their flesh blazes in the lambent lights.

Inscrutable power it gives them

As they undr...

Muses, Sins & Soul Ties

Is it a sin for your muse

to inspire mine,

provide momentary escapes

from loneliness, pain,

the daily grind,

give words to fantasies

of the mind,

connect soul ties.

It’s hard to believe

a God of love

would consider musing

a crime.

If it is, that’s not a religion

to which I subscribe.

Sinner

I feel a pain sear through my head,

bloodied rocks tumble to the ground.

Sinner, Sinner, covered in red,

searching for peace that’s not yet found.

I lift an arm to shield my eyes,

blackened blood trickles down my cheek.

From myself I try to hide,

to God above, I cannot speak.

“Child,” a hand’s placed on my shoulder,

“there is no need to be in pain.”

He lifts...

Sin

"There is no sin except stupidity." Oscar Wilde -The Critic as Artist.

Mea culpa! Mea culpa!

Nostra maxima culpa!

Thus should we weep, we cry

As it all ends with a whimper, a sigh

It is the people's will, they say

Proroguing to get their glory day

Your vote was for an ideal state

For nation, borders, Keep Britain Great

Now, your vote means a total schism

As we se...

It was not so

At the start it was not so

That we did know the stone to throw,

To kill the beasts and men like us,

To think it fine to strike the blow

That spread man's blood upon the dust.

How was it that death entered in?

Cruel killing, how did it begin?

Did not the Tree of Life stand there,

In God's garden where was no sin.

In God's garden where all was fair.

Sins of the sacred

Music fades away when you arrive
Spreading the doom with every stride
The stare of hatred locked in your eyes
Sinister cravings behind sacred lies

You want me to beg
You want me to look
You want me to bend
And follow your rules

Judging from throne made out of gold
Taken from people that you control
Deep in your cave, the smell of decay
Surrounded by slaves, you feist on their brain

Sins which we are

What am I?

A fruitful comrade?

A terrible lie?

And if so, how bad?

I lie awake at night,

Lost in thought,

Troubled by fright,

My stomach in a knot,

Because,

If we are all unjustified

Destined to hell

Blossomed in pride,

With our breasts full of swell,

Swelling with sin

Sin which we nurture

Sin which we bath in

Sin which is our future

Sin whi...

Weak

I was not aware how weak I was,

Till I felt your voice,

The reaction I had to you

As my new favorite song.

I had no choice

After you I was going

To bad if where I was headed

Was wrong.

How the minute my soul awakened

from a pit so far down

it be considered a ghost,

God need not help me then

for he knew I was long gone

already down on my knee's

Devil

Beware the shadow by the corner dark,
For there he waits for seven reasons sour,
His wicked tongue hath limitless remark,
Whilst therein seeking whom he may devour.

Be sober and be vigilant thy kin,
Thy adversary waits beneath the pyre,
Then walks about as proud as the lion,
To drag thy wayward souls towards the fire.

Sin by Sin

living sin by sin
the worst shadows are those I feel
sweepng my brow when eyes are squeezed,
brushing my diastolic dreams

when umbral curve eclipses my hold and
pries it from the highest wires all that bears
my worth, in such slow regard, recedes

and as I fall the angle is that Jesus saves,
this thrift expains the reason then he leaves

My Fall and His Grace

My sin hangs Him back on the cross,
And the traitor of Heaven clings to me.
I swallowed a little poison out or pleasure,
And my soul towards Him staggers to reach Him.
I let my soul stroll in filth and dirt,
And have carried the mud with me shrouded.
I look like a toad croaking from the ditch,
And I see Him invisibly looking at me,
And He shows His distorted countena...

A Sin?

is it a sin

when a man wants in

the place he came out

with a cry out loud

a new life to begin ?
