Do Not Enter
Do Not Enter.
Sign says do not enter risk of exploding bomb.
I want to enter this country is where I was born.
Landscape is barren, no longer looks like home.
The world tells us on this land we stand alone.
The soldier tells us we need to pack and go away.
We say this is ours and you have no right to stay.
We are victims for reasons we do not understand.

The Ceiling And The Sky
In my innocence I was brave...
And knew no fear,
No boundaries, no limits, no doubts,
Unable to imagine my spirit contained.
The sky was open...
Then came that ceiling,
That flattened the top of my head,
And crowded my dreams with fear.
The ceiling was clear...
You could see right through,
Unwaivering and unmovable it sat,
Intending to crush my dreams, so...

Forgotten
When we die,
We'll be forgotten,
But what can we say when
We're forgotten
While alive?
What am I to think
When I am invisible?
When I am cast aside?
When I am the problem?
Who is there to see me for me?
Does death then hold no meaning?
Is death even worth fearing?
Or is it rather embraced
As a means of escape
From those who
Don't care
At all?

The Children With No Voice
The Children with No Voice.
We are the hidden children who have no voice.
Unable to the decide or make our own choice.
When we speak or shout, we are never heard.
Plain denial always with all our words.
We are all wards of the national state.
Placed in a so-called appropriate and safe place.
Where we should be nurtured and cared for.
Where we should feel we are pr...

Why be common when I can be different?
In the hole of the common, fear runs deep,
where the voice of the many stirs us from sleep.
Dress the same, speak without spark,
act like the crowd, it's mediocrity's mark.
Alienated souls, proud in their space,
yet some feel the pull and yearn to escape.
Clarity’s a pain, like islands alone,
different in values, they stand out, unknown.
Children are innocent, while the old face disdai...

The Cliff: A Tall Tale
Don't look down
They say
Starve yourself
Of the unknown
For nobody knows
What's below
I shield my eyes from the cliff
Proclaiming my distrust of the ledge
I sway as the wind
Whispers
Horrifying nothings in my ear
I dare not peak
Lest the bottom I seek
Tensing, I coerce the rock
To become one
With my feet
If earth hears my plea
Safety is guaranteed
I find
To my dism...
