Hireath

I care little what you think of me

For my sinews have been drawn by your reactions

You controlled my mind, darker than your underbelly

Forge your registration into society

As I purge and delve into the stix of my resolution

The understanding of normality is blown apart by synapses that tithe your idiocy

Humans you may be but I am divine devil and blood surged into life

Shakespeare's Orphans

We all have thoughts

They're in our heads

During the day or when

We take to our beds

But where do thoughts go

When we're brown bread?

Do they expire when we do

Or emigrate instead?

Do orphaned thoughts stray

Seeking a new home?

Is the air alive with ideas?

Flame

Flame

We set the world alight

With incendiary thoughts

That burned like sulphur

Cut with lithium

A million candles

That lit every corner

Of our flammable minds

And shone like supernovas

When new ideas

Were like matches

Striking on sandpaper

When the faintest

Flintlock spark

Could flash against powder

And deliver shot

Ideas

Out Loud

Let your voice be heard
Surely you earn and win
Let ideas more cleared
For all women and men

Tell me what do you think
How did you see yourself?
Freely talk, no blink
Why to keep it on shelf

Open mind and heart
Nobody is remaining fool
Surely you're smart
To become happy and cool

Writers Block

The words don't flow as they used to

The lines don't form as well

My mind seems stuck in idle

Awaiting thoughts to swell

Each day I live, I see so much

It should inspire something

Yet when I sit to write it out

My brain comes up with nothing

Janus

Janus

When we were young

we raged against the storm

biting at our hormones,

engulfing our senses

and our sensibilities.

The deep penetrating

oxblood on our

Doctor Martin boots

polished

to an indignant sheen.

Pre-conditioner hair,

split ends and acne,

Shredded Wheat moustache.

A groove worn on the chin

by pondering fingers.

Myopic ...
