There were only seven chicken meatballs in my pack of eight

This is my attempt at a true crime/romance/poetry crossover and it’s called “There were only seven chicken meatballs in my pack of eight”.

There were only seven chicken meatballs in my pack of eight

So I opened up my Macbook to send an email of complaint.

She said

Look. You need to get a sense of perspective.

It’s petty, it’s sad, and you sound like a git.

Lies~Lies And More Lies

{Lies~Lies And More Lies}

The lies always flowed from your wicked bitchiest corrupted lips that tried to effectively communicate with me like the demonic dog in you

But I would listen for the first few times then after that I automatically auto~tuned your old played out fake ass coward of a man that lives amongst the people in this world who wasn't a liar like you

The moth with hob nailed boots

entry picture

Every night about half past ten

there's tapping ont window

It's the moth with hob nailed boots

trying to find a weak spot before

he parascends

through shattered glass.

Nowt will keep this tiger away from lamp

He's kitted out with mess tin and webbing

he's all camouflage and clobber

obvious to the untrained eye

that he's been on manoeuvres behind enemy line...

that deep

fear to love

absolutely
intoxicating
to resist

Tired

Tired

I’m a man whose tired and worn

Empty and dead on my feet,

Petered out, played out, pooped and torn

Burnout broke down and beat.

Drowsy, droopy, drooping drained

Dog tired, done in, done for,

Exasperated, enervated empty faint

Overtaxed, overworked and bored

Sick of, sleepy, spent and stale

Haggard, run down, all in

Consumed, collapsing, asleep,...

That'll Cost You the Kettle

entry picture

They married young and grew apart, as people often do.

Future life for both of them will be with someone new.

they could not move their home.

Until some savings could be made,

and low cost rents be found.

Circumstance demanded that

the bed must still be shared.

Things were tough, no time for fun,

except for weekend booze.

A Mouses Tale

entry picture
A Mouses Tale But it's not my fault, cried the mouse in dismay. I knew where I was going, though it was far, far away. Sat at the foot of my bed, with his hands beneath his head, He tried, through his tears, to relate what is here... I set out early this morn, after nibbling on some corn, For my breakfast, on the cob is best. I was planning to go to "The Great Mouse Show". A long...
