What trees would have grown so tall
What was there beyond the garden wall?
When she walked beyond the garden gate
Did she see the river's sudden spate
And did the rustle of a summer breeze
Mask the red kite's call above those trees

i started thinking of this
can’t put a pin in where it all started
over a year ago, i’d say
maybe you were a charmer and
maybe i was easily charmed
you’ve always had a spot
a spot if you ever wanted it
can honestly say i would

Something To Say.
I’ve got something to say about everything -
the bloody Tories and the bloody liberals
and that blood Farage with his bloody racism
and what about the bloody workers
and stop the bloody NHS cuts,
give us all a bloody living wage,
stop the bloody bankers bonuses,
plenty to say about benefits Britain
about the state of the nation,
about the house of lords,

the weird ones, the ones you stare at and misunderstand,
as a joke I say Hiroshima was good, let’s do it again!
