Every time the glass of your skull
Crashes into the fist of another memory
To crush you where you stand
Because another memory has broken you
Because another memory has entered you
Like intruders, they force their way inside
They punch their way into your attention
They invade your heart
Until you must look at them
All so that they can violate you again

I remain broken
Soft, baby pink.
Gentle, rose petal pink.
Full of love, heart shaped pink.
Lipstick for the ladies pink.
Sickly-sweet icing pink.
Prim and proper,
don’t get your dress dirty,
“You’re such a girl,” he jokes,
As I refuse the offer, of one of his, ‘smokes.’
His eyes alive wit...

I will not let one
walk over me like I had before
beacause, now inside
there's a more refined person
of me you'll find.
A better person,
a more wise kind of gale,
a growing person
whose faith will never stop.
Her mind and heart
Is new and improved.
She will not brake,
she will not fall again,
she will rise from beneath
all her broken dreams and hopes
you created within her.
