Brilliant imagery. To me you have conjured up a fox exactly. Love the lines
Like a king, lounging on his
Shop- soiled throne
Perfect! ๐

Keith I'm eternally grateful for your comments and interest in my poetry. It means more than you know.
Anyway, yes it's Dylan Thomas' The Force That Through The Green Fuse Drives The Flower.
I 100% believe there is a Creator because I've seen through this fake reality many times. Thanks again for your consideration.

For me it's about my mam's dementia, but on face value, it could mean so many things, or nothing at all! That's the great thing about poetry isn't it?
There's many I read and have no idea what they're on about ๐คฃ but love them!
And thanks for the Likes Clare, Leon & Jimakos. Always appreciated ๐

Who moves life or who generates natural energy? God, if not who? There must be a life source.

The phrase 'slave labour or cheapened property' is well observed, Keith. It may be that the gig economy (ok if you have a good gig) is pulling society further apart and increasing inequality. The checks and balances of democracy are vital in addressing these problems. Very interesting poem.

The city fox is not unknown to me here in central London. On a
number of occasions we have passed each other in the evening's
gloom,; me strolling, my nearby companion trotting past on the
opposite footway. The parks, squares and gardens offer new
homes, while the railway and underground lines provide these
incomers with access for their forays into urban living. I often
wonder how the resident wandering feline population deal with
these incursions into their territory..

A powerful poem of the urbanisation of our wild life. I have witnessed this myself and it makes me feel sad to see these handsome creatures, natural predators, struggling to get inside
a wheely bin.
A good poem and thanks for this

Thank you Keith, your comments are always positive and very much appreciated. I do feel a little bit of a fraud, as these little writes are taken from Dr Amir Khans daily posts on Twitter. I have managed to gather together quite a collection over the past year. He posts lovely scenes and inspiring words and I just try to adapt them into poems. All with his permission of course.

The past is something we can do little about. The present we have limited control over but the future is not in our hands because in it is the mystery of life. We cannot determine the future so we must trust in the one who has control over it. He will steer the course, guide and protect as you journey forward. This is for certain..
A poem often heard as a prayer. At the out break of World War two when the future was foreboding the King spoke to the nation and said, "Put your hand into the hand of God". I have always thoughts those words contained such good advice.
A poem of sincere enquiry.
Thank you for this
Keith

Moonlight poetry
Poems are but a reflection of me
Some are darkness, some light perceived
A motivation from Nigel I receive
To write more of my never-ending poetries
Words that flows from within the depths Of me
He can relate it and do justice to my poetry
Ever encouraging verses from Nigel to read
Your verbal footprints I see in all my works
Gives me yet another title for moonlight poetry
Thank you Nigel. ๐

Very pertinent to what is witnessed these days. You are spot
on about apathy...closely related to misplaced tolerance.
Rigorous and robust are terms I value, not least for their
relevance and importance to ordinary day to day living and
the defence of ways and ideas we may cherish. .

What a storm in a tea-cup. Literature is all about testing the
boundaries. Yesterday, it was "Lady Chatterley's Lover"; today,
it's about kiddies' feelings (via the outlook of sensitive offence-seeking adults.
There is room for a return to that classic comment from the Duke of Wellington:
Publish and be damned!

Any change that is rushed is to be treated with circumspection.
The idea might be worthy but practicality has not yet caught up.
I have this vision of a hapless electric car driver being stuck in a
a place with a charging point that is reliant on a wind power source that is inoperative due to a high pressure area bringing
ongoing beautiful but completely calm meteorological conditions!
