Biography
Finding the first line to anything is the most difficult. Where is this place called inspiration? Then by chance stumbling across it while staring at a blank piece of paper. Being a member of Stockport Write Out Loud gives me the valuable support of personal friendship, that bonds strong positive energy, helping to produce a higher level of enjoyment to my writing. The more pleasure that a poem brings - - - the more I want to write.

Hey Nigel you did a great performance on the ghost of me video, I enjoyed that ?
Thanks Ruth same to you
Christmas time is always fun
lots of beer lots of wine
but then all is gone
with the bottle bank full of empties
and money all spent up
on the positive side
a clear head is good
to write some more poetry
with the new year coming up!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas Nigel, Enjoy yourself!
Thanks Ruth
working on the darker side of Christmas once again
with my gangland boss Krampos, he has got me filling up sacks with bad kids then getting other members of the gang to take them away.
Really enjoyed 'The Spirit of Christmas' in this month's Printed Words, very witty! What with that and your Halloween piece you're definately a bit of a 'Gangsta Poet' me thinks! ?
That's what you call real spooky Ruth - - -
You had some good special effects going on there with the Halloween party. I went to read it and it said ' entry not found' and THEN wait for it......It actually Disappeared. Now. Isn't that the stuff that a proper ghostly Halloween party is made of! ?
Thanks for that Graham
Ruth
You seemed to have everything covered
now to press the like button
oh no no it's still on hold!
Nigel, I have asked the technical boys to look at it for you. I can't see anything obvious.

Hey Nigel just seen this today, the comment went astray from me! So How's this French Poem going? Try climbing the Effiel tower with some trifle, but don't wobble like the jelly or spill the cream..... You had steel ladders ....I ended up with Friday the 13th Ladders and Snakes & Ladders, What a climb!
Golly gosh your French Connect
It does sound a bit saucy
With messy miss and splashy paint
And he up miss? sounds horsey
Now Nigel you're a fun writer
(Assume you're good on mic)
I don't know what I'm writing 'bout
(I'll quietly disappear.....)
See you on the blogslide.....?
Thanks Ruth
Just working on another poem called The French Connection
Oh la la
paint splashing
messy mess
head stuck
up his
oh la la
steel ladders
found two days later
Enjoyed Reading your 'When the devil smiles' poem in the Autumn Edition of Printed words. You have a talent for turning a random news story into a totally different creative piece.
Thanks again for the poem Nigel.
Much appreciated my friend
see you next week
Martin
