Fred you should've known that chefs
Got cupboards full of cheffy gifts
Perhaps voucher for surplus-rid
Might just have stopped your Virgo rift?
You didn't know of such vouchers? Google for nearest 'Rid your Rubbish' company.....?

Hey Chrystel
I'm doing well. Thalia and I are bonding like a rocket. She even revealed an unknown talent to me today. Choreography consultant to Edna 1 and 2 (see post Edna - Stavely Makepeace 1970). What will she come out with next ?
First I thought 'fervid' was a typo. Look it up first Don before you put your foot in it. I'm glad I did. Yes, fervid sounds better . Shows your 'educated'.....?

How are you? It's been a while...
Yeah, fervid; I thought it sounded better than fervent
Best regards

From my eye

Enjoy your day
Thumbs up to writing

It's funny but before I'd even read Graham's comment I thought how lovely and refreshing your profile writeup was. A poet who's actually interested in how other people think and create. Not everyone is and you meet many on the poetry scene who aren't there to listen at all.
Thanks for commenting on my poem Tom. I very much enjoyed your Cooling Towers poem - a relationship poem with some depth and originality.

Ruth, this one gave me a smiley remembrance. It was my friend's birthday. She was a chef and I am a Virgo. I got her a cookbook and an apron, and that was the start of our rift. ?

Vautaw, I reflected on 'Abandoned' deeply and feel thank-full. My muses come through fingertips, from within-out. They are not present all the time, but then, neither am I.

Listening to the profile tune and got a bit lost. Enjoyed the melody, tempo and your voice. Are you also the instrumentalist? If so, great delivery. If no, still good. Some things don't come immediately. Would you agree Michael?
Creasote is the word I hear you say. It's used to preserve wood utility poles. I believe it is deemed poisonous here in Western WA. I just now see there is a medicinal creasote bush that provides a resin for the wood preservative. Wow, I am still learning stuff. Never heard of a creasote bush before a few minutes ago.
Kinda feel it is a love song, but haven't figured out how. I got stuck on preserved poles and medicinal bushes. Maybe, just a little more time. ?

They say Greeting Cards are out of date
obsolete in this fast-paced world
but homemade cards are still special
when made by children
in some of their first Acts of Creation.

There is poetry
in children's art
and those who receive
always support
No mystery
right from the start
their creating comes
straight from their heart.

And not had your tea

Had my breakfast too
So I am in top form
Rhyming back to you

You may be simple bladder (me?)
We all bow down to you
You came from Ba Ba black sheep
Our reverence we now shew
Although we toss you round, we kick
We do it for a cause
Hear the crowd all cheering?
It's you they're cheering, yours...
(Poor deluded bladder.....)

I like the concept of this poem very much. I think it would be interesting to see how you could play with the image of that perfect circle shifting into something else, as the axis of the Earth suddenly shifts. Almost, in a way, like the breaking of glass.

I like the way you rhyme
The jug part 2 to be continued
I will finish in due time
Lately I write straight off the cuff
The WOL is my word of cloud
Scribble, doodle, thinking Don
What words can me ...proud
But for now straight in from work
I will have to cook me tea
So once again I thank you Don

Interestingly you didn't mention kilts John which have never been in fashion except at weddings and committee rooms. As for the rest they passed the twat test as reported. I look cool in everything but I wouldn't expect anybody to agree. A real good enjoyable romp .

Hello Don. Thank you for commenting on my poem.
I think we're all developing all the time as poets. I cringe at my early stuff but it was all part of a process or an ascent, to use your analogy - though I'm not sure I'll ever make it to where I'd like to be.
I used to live in Ausyralia. It's a beautiful country. You'll have to open an open mic night there! If you don't already go to one!
