I agree with Colin. This sounds like a great opener for a really good book. I know I'd read it!
Well done. Thank you. Jane?

I'm grateful for your robust and intelligent response David. This had no plan, just came roaring up from the subconscious. I don't let reason get in the way - but to respond, your first point is well made. The point about equality is obviously paramount, I think to some that is just a suspension of disbelief, which in itself is no bad thing!
Belief is after all the most dangerous of all flirtations IMO. I will just say we all have a mixture of whatever makes up the sexual identity, some conceal it, and some flaunt it.
I think I just liked that phrase Strange Fruit and nicked it.
It does imply to me a sort of desire to sample the goods, whatever they might be, whether mental or physical, both equally cogent.
Ah Nina ! I had to learn My Baby just cares for me years ago with its long solo, quite difficult, but not for her I reckon. Not that that's a particularly good example of her work. In the same way I was forced to play I Just Called to say I love you, to which with Stevie I would apply the same criticism.
Thanks for liking this Anya and Darren.
Thanks a lot . Ray

You didn't continue
The result of this flirt
The fire-flashing eyes
And very short skirt
A caravan and car
No good on it's own
Did this feisty lass
Then drive you right home?

Is the last verse really a mum quote? Sounds a bit too considered, but then, I don't know your mum. Or is it a society quote?
Lovely tone to this. Quite Pinteresque.

I find it implausible that so many people refer to their being bullied as a kid (or even as an adult). Yet nobody ever suggests that they were/are a bully. How does that work?
I’ve been a bully. As far as I can see I’m the only one in the world.

Any trips on FUN BUS
Are free, and so no fare
What we have to watch out
Gina not turn up bare
Now on the other hand
We secretly might hope
She will indeed shed off
But Brian, will he cope?
As creator of this FUN BUS
And Gina's ABC's
'Tis me who decides what happens
'Tis me who holds the keys

JC - I've never succumbed to the idea that kids are always
little saints - or poor little devils just waiting to redeemed;
a view given credence by the very recent vile act by a
young girl against the elderly cat belonging to a great niece
...tortured and then killed. Police won't act without the
either the body or reliable evidence - restricted by word
of mouth between local kids that saw the fate of the
"missing" cat come to light...as things do when kids get
together and finger-pointing recriminations occur as some
experience guilt - or the desire to look after number one!
