Winter’s Embrace

Snowflakes fall, a silent lullaby,

Blankets of white beneath twilight sky,

Bare branches etched in frost’s sigh,

Stars alight, crisp and bright,

Warm fireside light,

Frozen plight,

Deep night,

Still.

World awakens bright.
