All I had to do
Was look into her eyes.
The cob-webs within them
From being so long
Without the contact
Of another being.
Behind them was a flicker,
A dim flicker,
Of a forgotten heart.
All I had to do
Was look into her eyes.
Of unrecognized love
That would never be mine.
I saw all the broken pieces
Coated in depraved divinity.

Hearing that words from Natural history such as Acorn and Conker are now lost on the latest generation got me thinking...
When web was a silky spider's thread
When online was your school shirt
Fixed on with a peg
When a tablet was something
You took, when ill
But a type of pill
When mouse was
By a cat
OK, I'm going
Too far bac...

The changing colour of the seasons
Can life get any better than this?
Reflecting through all the reasons
Of why we came to exist
The midlife comparisons of autumn
As we're reaping our rewards
Fear of the chill in winter
Will we survive old age
Or be ignored?
As we look back to
The growth of spring
When all was so fresh
To the warmth and heat

UNTIL THE DARKNESS COMES.
Her light is fading slowly
But the memories which made us one
Will burn brightly in my heart
Until forever ends
There are no guarantees
Only the inevitable
I may lose the shell which surrounds her
But her essence will always be
The other half of me.
Our souls will be
As long as memory endures
Surely sadness will...

When you think that something is dead and buried, but it keeps resurrecting itself unexpectedly...
When your alone
You end up there
Fantasy flesh and tendons
Tend to latch on
To muscular musings
Rummaging in discouragement
In dissaapointment duties
The luxury of satisfa...

My Modern Makeover of Cinderella.... Cos you're never too old for a fairytale!!!
Once upon a time
There was a prince
He kept meeting damsels
That made him wince
But he had a glass slipper
That's all that mattered
'I'll find it's owner
Dress may be tattered'
Then one day he
Came up with a plan
To stop being a Prince
Just an ordinary man

Remembering things before they happen
Laying out memories that are not
Bringing out insights
To enable seekers to prepare
For as a fool

Still she shares this
They had never even met
Yet their frequencies
Revealing the unknown

Friday 16th August 2019 9:25 pm
Burned out, hidden from the crowds inside of stranger's minds,
there are things to be found
in a time after time...after time.
not always you can read the last memories
inside of the universe book,
you always share what it takes
but now it gets more than you took.
Nothing left to be undermined,
simple, eternal, contagious,
chasing ashes from those emp...

Tranquility in your presents
doves pecking as our kiss is tending
lips lock our mind in a spell, as the doves sing their song, letters spelling in the air.
clouds draw me close for a better look
fractals in the nooks, lump to lump, baby rainbows extend their hand and shake with glee
telling my lover she is the best mother to be
She see's the beauty in my beastial nature, cal...

Guilty conscience, surrounded by correspondence
consciousness come in waves, enamored with our better days
up and downs, stuck in a rut
frequent lethargy, the frequencies sparking a chain reaction
body mind and soul glued to the floor, psyche myself up
then tear myself down
pieces of our life dwindle in this present we call time
too dark to...

I fell in love with the sound of your beating heart
With your slow, sweet kisses
I fell in love with your smile and the way my entire world is brighter in its presence
I fell in love with the way your hair curls behind your ears and the way your eyes sparkle when they're set on me
I fell in love with your words and the meaning and care behind each one
I fell in love with your mind and the con...

Golden ratio in her palatial
universe in company, always good on her promise.
Her flower of life is timeless, spend all my days in her focal point
my intention at play on my brain, but the thought stem from hers
stuck in my ways, her path dislodge and pave
recurrent occurence in our sphere, purity echo throughout my peer
sheer is her tree of life. Landmarks bring me to a right...

This is one of my longest poems. It tells a story about an adventure I took one day back when I was a teenager. I don't think it's some of my better writing, but maybe you may find it enjoyable.
A Memory Lost in Time
I’ve reached the age
Where many years have passed me by.
Lost memories have become buried
Mixed in the years lost by time.
Every so often, unexpected like.

What a peaceful thought.
Tuesday 30th July 2019 1:04 am
unlocked of chains each morning
my mind is freshly out of it's shower
soaked all night in spinal fluid
let's dry off with a cup of sunrise coffee
cat whines and yelps for crunch
this day starts off with the fading feelings
leftover from the distancing of my fresh dream
my subconcious slipping away
but here I hold a string I left there
if I could only pull mysel...

Let's let our thoughts tango and let our souls mate
my heart on my sleeve, on display
she is my armor, forever with fervor
worth the search for, pain couldn't hurt more
Her radiance blazes, visually a spectacle
her calming presence.
In essence, my mind linger.
Drift off to the cosmos. to a place where space and time coincide
I see her constellation and engage, warp drive...

When I die
They'll not be a cloud in the sky
They'll be riot vans
All around the haligonian streets
As the public are treated to ska at 140 beats
A group of mourning maidens
Will be in black on every street corner
With a "punk with a northern soul" t shirt to adorn her
The ladies and friends I have admired
Will be quoted in high regard
And my adversaries will be silenc...

First, from nothing scarce.
From the significance in first tormenting light after leaving the dark.
I wanted to mention how love saved certain severances...The blood and clay…soul molded and punctured body of constellations…
How we break free.
How my star falls tonight.
Into the root. Into the wind to feel the soil again. Like his hands wavering the beginnings of sun and s...

I want to confess that the last minute is the bell tapered within his hands.
That single gesture of ominous struggle to wring out hazards and corridors. Rusted knobs like knuckles.
Eyelash fringe of frosted root. Cold clemency. Integrous beasts. We are jailed flutter. Inside. Within…
We free one another together.
I search for the maze of divine intervention and wings.

They frame me in the milestones. Something like an unkempt garden. I am half naked in blizzards of truth. Temperamental hands unclothe me...
Because you love me whispers from adversaries blow at our threads. The nature of their beasts forget the importance of their Mothers...Of women. Umbilical iridescence floats away. Kites like thoughts lose strings...

What prompted me to compose,
Pen down the lines after so many days!
Perhaps I owe it to her – all my happiness;
Realized after so many days!
Her eyes aren’t just eyes, my desires flourished;
She scaled after so many days!
The pen stained in the her memory penned everything,
Magically itself after so many days!
Misunderstood phases vanished, mistakes abandoned;

Drawn together, by god's hand
canvas weathered, with black clouds on foreign land
placed on parchment in the darkness
the line is thin from me to you, each other's mind paint the others dreamscape
drawn to you, the flip book of life brings us ever closer as every moment pass
each page bookmarked and in immediate view, I pray always my spine hold from the load placed on you
on the margin ...

Seismic vibes reach through the faults
the connection pulls us together collectively
As we embrace, we look for a way to drown out our doubts and fears
Walls fall, curled up under the table, her past remains the same
as for her future i can save her, let us recover
what was lost to damage.
Sift through the rubble for our gems and jewels, trinkets and fuel
as we lie i...

The queen bee is the light of my eye, the spark of spark divine.
Her frequency speaks to me, peacefully, decency well balanced in her machinery
I drone out the static, feel the hum of her words
I strive to be part of the hive, so what's mine is hers
I step out to amass my bouqet prize
by her side, in line we all move in unison but i see her eyes meet mine, and they drag my min...

Roses in bloom as i scale the stairs from my tomb
I've been away a long time, but the sweet scent of morning dew brings me closer to you
Felt like the fall from heaven was endless
but our hands met when you picked me up, foreign land for both of us but you never lost your gentle touch
I wake up and send praise to the gods, the woman of my dreams persists into my arms

Strongholds of war threaten our life supply,
for death awaits those who seek and speak truth.
Battles are waged within our safe havens,
as kin and friend shed their masks of deceit.
Doorsteps of homes alter into altars
Refuge is taken spiritually now,
for the church has fallen religiously.
Satan worshippers disguised as righteous
Believers, spitting the Word better than
us because False...

Someday we'll find a way to
protect our dreams and seek our hopes,
words - soft as July's razors
disappearing path, forbiden trace,
screaming loud, carving into stones - deliverance, replace -
''true love hurries but it always waits'',
never...in the same place.
Someday we'll find a way to
fly away and disappear,
going higher as we never did before,
staring at the same old mindless mes...

Speak louder so they can't hear the silence instead,
turmoils and echos around my rigorous head,
keeping all the truths that we want to destroy
but we ought to protect,
see... I am nothing but a builder
but tonight I dreamt I was
Momentum holds and it wouldn't rest,
dissolved in same old liquid mess,
vibrating body around its perfect chest
somehow.. still trying to disconne...

Poets are renowned for navel gazing and being introspective. Here are three poems to prove the point. But hey, all navels need an occasional inspecting now and then. :)
The Unpublished Poet
He took a clipboard and a ballpoint pen.
He sat in the sun and then …..
He gazed at the sky, the inexplicable clouds,
Listened to trees sigh, untranslatable tones,
Thought of all that he...

Caring crusaders and daring debaters
Emmeline, Greta, Ruth
Your voices sound loud with the bold toll of truth.
Uncowed and defiant. You refused to give in.
Life-changing campaigning is a wonderful thing.
Marathon runners: hard-trained and focused
With miles in your strides
And pain hardly noticed.
Everyday heroes with strength in your limbs
Your drive and passion a...

It's raining in the south
preparing all the ways that we've lost,
it's raining in the south
against the truth and the wisdom,
against the back and wrath,
from the moment that we crashed into.
It's raining in the south
and we are not the only one.
And all of the bodies
just trying to be ignored,
refreshing their lifes,
protecting their core.
Who and when, what is it all about?

A Mother's Day Poem for that Special Woman in your life. Enjoy!
Like Cheryl "Pepsi" Riley,
I will sing, "Thanks for My Child,"
to Heaven's Divine vast skies;
for the praises of my heart
flows within each verse I pen,
to etch the love that we share.
Being "Mother" is a gift-
not a luxury some claim;
children are precious-not pawns!
No matter where we maybe,...

I took my notebook out,
just to write a song,
but then I saw you,
and now there's nothing I can do.
After all this time,
in this notebook of mine,
I found your words,
forgotten by time.
Our lives are a mess,
but we're doing fine.
Two months have gone by,
without you near by,
my life is a mess,
yet I'm alright.
Hold on tight to these,
hopeless, broken dreams,
I've never give...

With the rain we met and walked in,
after storms, flames and fire,
protecting ourselves somewhere in between,
sharing moments, fears, desires...
With all the steps we need to take,
living through our days, through our nights,
nothing left to tell my little one,
you are always in my head..I am always by your side.
With the rain we meet here again,
and my promises that i try to keep.

There's not much i want to tell,
this early calls, fading light,
with morning girl we're ought to sail,
coming slowly, going by,
leading us to fairytale.
And suddenly I became aware,
suddenly it's you all i wanna see,
stored and wrapped in your morning spell,
I hope you feel allright,
I hope you've slept well.

English is a rebellious tongue
defiant and disobedient.
Like a passionate protestor
it rails against rigid rules
pattern and conformity.
And lucky is the linguist
who joins its
Where males may sail
with crews who cruise
past whales in Wales
and foul sea fowl.
And soles are soiled
down lanes well lain
and herds are heard

sometimes i wonder how we got to this point
a point where you wonder whats the best
a point where you want to restart and forget
because i thought we're doing our best
giving all the love we have left
but look at us now,
one has left and doesnt have any regrets
and the other one stood still, full of questions.
shes waiting, waiting and reassuring him that she believes.

When people see a spectacular dancer,
They say, “Oh, that’s poetry in motion!”
And then they might see a moving painting,
And say, “That painting says it all—It’s like a poem!”
And good musicians are just considered poets.
I mean, Bob Dylan won a God-damned Nobel Prize
In literature, didn’t he?
But it doesn’t stop there. I’ve heard motorcycle
Races described at “pure poetry in action...

Hello from the other side,
from protected words, created lights,
as something small,
distant signal, so hard to recognize.
I don't feel I can...no I can't,
I can't really write tonight.
Hello from the city streets,
purple in the deep, fading lights
with contrast of white on white,
shattered through the dark,
broken in their half,
I am sorry cause I can't.....

All this time,
reminded of the thyme tea I drank,
as I was talking to you.
And all those stories I've heard,
from liars and thieves,
about you, not being who you say you are.
Can't even drink my favorite beverage,
my mind being leveraged,
by the thoughts of another summer without you.
mind messed up from beer portrayed as a liquid savior,
yellow at ...
