There once were two cannibals called Devour and Crunch,
Who were sat at a table demolishing their lunch.
Devour said ,"I don't like my mother-in-law!"
"Never mind,"said Crunch," just eat the veg."

I once lived in a country called Nicaragua.
A land inhabited by delusional people blindly ignoring the truth,
rejecting the idea that we lived on unstable grounds.
But the experts never lie and their warnings materialized themselves.
Tragedy struck like the hands of a clock.
Violence and anarchy were no longer distant stories written on newspapers,

Bizarre to see such pointless celebrity gossip instead.

Soon this commercial cancer will overtake us all.
To then believe in lies from surgical lips.

Home from the cinema
We were going home from the movies
It began raining I had an umbrella and shielded
Her from most of the cloudburst, I got wet.
At her home, she said I had to take my suit off
I did but felt silly sitting on her sofa in my undies.
She came back from the bathroom wearing less than me,
We kissed and cuddled and ended up in her bedroom.

Clusters of sacrificial colurs
in a bleated cry from a dormant world
In unison the days of autumn do ebb
from the gaiety of a summer´s warmth
It is the finale, the last movement
of a rhapsody which droops in sorrow
Threadbare leaves in a myriad of colours
give the landscape a farewell hue
A floor of sadness is littered between weary trees
