Vegetable broth

Is how the whole thing begins.

Then add two

Dollops of tahini.

Nut-like taste.

Easy to remember.

Then add

To pool of olive oil

Minced garlic

And seitan strips,

The primary element.

Then add

Secondary element,

Chopped criminis.

These will make

The mixture sing.

Table Manners

he wouldn’t let us leave
without paying,
for our meal

had to-go

then bantered with them
and, you ordered to make him take it back

the whole ordeal was a real headache,
I could feel tension in the temple,
and had to meditate, to
clear my head and relieve the stress

I wanted to post a pic of my meal,
but it was almost traumatic

Maybe, I’m just being over dramatic?

To Smoke Before Bedtime

 At dinner for a start,

I ate a very fresh coconut.

Fearing my stomach upset

Ate a nice vinaigrette,

Then I ate a cake,

My mother baked.

To prevent constipation,

And for good digestion,

Rare sort of cheese I ate.

I ate a banana for a bet.

And to avoid the gases,

I ate some hens with lettuce.

To have a very deep sleep

I ate a very cheap sheep.

Smoked nicely...

Another Grumpy Sunday

It’s another grumpy Sunday

Zoe’s late picking up Grandad

And the chicken is nearly done.

I’ve got my feet up watching the race

And shouts are heard in the kitchen

Where I haven’t dared to show my face
