"Women love to say no"

"Women love to say no".

Or is that just how it seems

Soul Sister

Nothing comes sugar coated
Forget what I want to hear
All facts only
No punishment here

Her insights are a gift
Taking time to think of me
Disregaurding would be hurtful
Both to her and
To me

If I were to go down a dark path
If she were to sit and watch me fade to black
Would be a waste of a beautiful friendship
A heartache that couldn't be taken back

And the body too big to call home.

I am both.

In the shops I am both.

I am the girl who is too curvy to wear cute clothes

International Women's Day

Pages and pages of pink and pink
roses on dresses and slender chic drink,
All pictures pretty some might think
but none reflecting strength, and that's the thing:

Women's Day isn't all flowers and hearts
it's message shouldn't be limited before it starts,
we are more than our constituent parts
so today try to tear stereotypes apart -

Support our differences, our quirks,
you don't have...

Lines on Picasso's APERITIF

slim flower head

red pollen bold

erect on scarlet stalk

whispering scented smoke

green breath absinthe moist

wormwood curled

the perfumed whiff of rosy cunt

pressed at bay

damp

between satin thighs

more sleek than silken stockings garter strapped

tantalizing roads to mossy fields

ungated

arm like a swan’s neck

imperious
