Poetry Blogs (hot)
It’s hot as the hinges of Hell, they say.
Maybe so, but I’ve never been there.
Those hinges must be made
of very hard stuff not to melt.
Best not to sweat in this heat.
Water on Hell’s hinges would turn to steam.
and scald us like boiled owls.
But we’re tough old birds too.
We’ll sweat it out and try not to drip on the hinges.

Your dandruffed head which once was fair
Your sweaty armpits clogged with hair
Those sagging tits that touch your knees
That fluff-filled navel full of fleas
God ! you're sexy when you're bare.
And you my love are perfect man
Your dentures even have a tan
And though your willy's lost its zing
Eventually it still goes in
You're HOT........come take me while you can....

There's nothing that can beat
Walking along the beach
With the waves hitting your feet
In the scorching heat
Miles of soft, golden sand
I run some through my hand
Waves splashing against the shore
Is a sound that I adore
Feeling the warm breeze
Puts me at such ease
I tilt my head up towards the sun and smile
And close my eyes for a while
This beach is my paradise

After The Storm
Not long after the downpour,
steam dragged itself
from the sheen of cobbles
in an effort to reach
the tiny rainbows
bouncing for the sun.
There was a wet smell in the air,
like the heaving body of a wolf
dying on a riverbank,
choking on its own blood
after the arrow
had pierced its throat.
The deep rumble of thunder
