Hi Pete, a wonderful piece of work, stark fear and reality in a modern world that doesn't know, I can feel the depression in there, thats how I see it anyway.
There's so much in there as Darren says, but I wouldn't expect anything else, nice one mate!

Pete,
Get tha ma to a doooo! Good for the soul!
Not a poem, a sharing of a welcome shift from melancholy to renewal. Remain renewed Pete.
Talent brings reflection and may be woe..but woa..you seem like a fun guy and eventhough times is tough for the many of us..sure you have what it takes to rise above the troubled times.
May things go good steadily, with an absence of pain and much good love bathed in warm light!
Bestest to you

Dreams may come and dreams may go, with thoughts mixed up inside your head, they come for a reason while you lie sleeping in your bed.
The brain needs to unfold its thoughts from the day, the month, the year, the release from out of the jumble head is just downloading, making clear, a path, a way, to carry on with yet another day, I hope that all your dreams will be good ones, and the bad ones stay away.
I too have them, but mine are mostly bad, I hate them when they happen, because they make me sad.
You say someone had sent your good dream, your spiritual needs amended, If this is so I thank them and hope you will remain contented.
Love mum,xxxxx

Dear Peachy! Hi Belinda, I like pt 2 of your Zombies series, as you know I really liked pt 1, is there going to be a pt 3 conclusion to what the Zombies are doing, that would be good! cheers Jeff X
ps thanx for your comment on 'when I'm down' I wrote it a few months ago, and although still relevant its not as bad now, the poetry helps! Must try that Zazen stuff! I did wonder whether your poem was a state of mind or real life based on your zombie stuff! Know where you're coming from good to know you're okay!

Hello Rodney,
Thanks for your comments on my recent blogs.
The two suffragette ones were written with performance in mind and went down quite well at Wigan.
Pardon my ignorance but i really have no idea who Makowski is. I googled it and it gave me far too many Makowski names to choose from.
I'm a hopeless case i know.

Jeff, you always take the time to read our work and I'm happy to see you developing in your confidence and writing. I enjoy your work especially because of your musical passions. I am more inspired by good song lyrics than poetry, but then I think good song lyrics are poetry. I think that quality musicians and bands have a lot going for them in terms of poetic influence. Take Roger Waters for example.
Thank you for your kindness and sincerity and understanding.
Its of no surprise that you have so much love here Jeff.
Look forward to seeing you soon. I may get t the green rooms this Thursday.

Hi Belinda, hope you're okay over there!
I like this, it sounds like your mind is still stuck in the rat race of japan, well thats how it came over to me, great stuff!
Just one thing, I thought the line 'Got to do this and that' would sound better with the meaning and rhythm of the poem if it was 'Got to do this, got to do that' - see what you think, to alter login, click edit on your poem, amend it and then update entry.
Hope that helps, I've added a deep one today! hope you like it, let me know, take care Jeff X

Hi Richard this is good stuff, very sad obviously, no surprise there!!
Some great lines here and unfortunately I can identify with the sentiments.
Anyway, something spooky, I was reading this listening Echo and the Bunnymen. It was the album 'Evergreen' and as they say on there funnily enough - 'Nothing ever lasts forever', which I think I'll have for my funeral!
Don't worry I'm okay, although you might not think so when you read my latest poem! 'When I'm Down' - Hope you like it, keep up the good work, Jeff

Hi Richard, I like a lot of this, the concept etc and some great lines but I couldn't really get into it.
Not sure if too long, or if it needs to be 2 poems, before and after. Maybe me being too symplistic, i don't know, hope it helps and like Janet, I know you can make it better!!

Really like this, straight to the point and vividly reflects the effects of depression but also the harsh world faced by sufferers who also live in the dark world of prescription drugs and its fears.
Brilliant as always, see ya soon, Jeff

Hi Gabby, I'm just catching up with stuff, really like this, lovely idea, simple (the way i like it!) and effective.
If I can say one thing though its the 2nd and 3rd lines in the 6th stanza, the former too long and the latter too short. Would it look and sound better if it said something like -
It's like music, heart felt music
unchanged or synthesized.
Only a thought, great stuff though Jeff X
