Plastic Face

entry picture

The sunny disposition of this outer multilayered cover

Iridescent, freckled, food brush under air intake valve

Noise capturing devices to balance out brain cell container

A surround sound audio system with sub-woofer and base

Great swathes of follicles in need of treatment and repair

Two cameras capturing 3D imagery, with precision

Each slide sent to a film archive storage facility

Current contract for this job is held by Memories 4U

Although there have been a few leaks and shutdowns

There is a review of admin staff roles, redundancies expected

The brain cell container has series expression devices

That gives emotional shapes to its multilayered cover

This also serves to open and close a two way valve

Cooked fuel energy goes in and utter drivel comes out

The whole ensemble, in this case finished off with camera shields

Who would bid for this unique object?

Wonder if Damien Hurst will buy, stick it in plastic, sell for £10.4M

Best not tell him about the expressive devices starting to fail

Some sort of neurological progressive disorder was found

The multilayered cover lacks uniform movement in parts

Gives the piece a sort of solidifying plastic look

You never know it might save Damien a few bob

What am I bid? I have an opening bid from the back there?

“£10.50”

“What was that sir?”

“You’ll throw in a packet of mint humbugs!”

No other bids?

"Sold!"

“Sir, your name?”

‘Damien’       oooooh!

I wonder if that’s a bad Omen?

Hi Clarissa,
It was a tounge in cheek fun poking poem at my face. The Parkinson's does effect the muscles in my face but I wanted to write about it in a light hearted way.
Thank you for your comment
