STORMY NIGHTS

Pain, Pain go away

Go and never come back soon

It’s becoming more difficult to hide you these days

Please kindly go away.

Tears and sniffles go away

Ruining my face with your runny self

I still have to put up a brave face for the tide ahead

Please do me the favour of staying away

This thing called happiness

Has eluded me for a while now

I just feel so tired...

The Enlightenment

We walk a
fine line in
our relationship
with others.

Words, powerful
as they are,
miss the idiosyncrasies
of body language
that convey sincerity
and good intention.

On the road
to enlightenment,
our muse sometimes
knicks old wounds
that the ego
rushes to protect.

Bellow

I could fill a barren sea
full of tears I've shed
for a moment with you.

I learned to focus only

Invaded Identity

I am me

Who said this?

So is my body

An invaded custody

Occupied by her

Thoughts and memories

Two sided glossaries

Not a reflection is mine

That would determine

My own identity

Out of my sanctity

I may be a string

Of any cacophonous Sitar

Where she creates

On my wounds

Riot of sounds

Without bounds

Mirage

 Mirage

Beyond these indifferent walls

lies a second carapace,

pierced by small, green eyes

in a shimmering face.

It is not my own,

but lies are truths for actors;

they bandage wounds

when the liars rebel

while fleeing, open-mouthed,

from their savage selves.
