Behind Every Badge
For my Mum and others, I wear this pin today.
It's only a small badge, but it has a lot to say.
An orange ribbon symbol, simple in its design.
My Sister pinned it to a jacket pocket of mine.
And behind every badge, there's a story to tell.
And with each story, a million tears will have fell.
My story is not unique, one of many a sad case.
We have all lost somebody, we cannot replace.
