I much admire the soft and the hard, the tender versus the potentially destructive, support instead of aggression. IMO, it does indicate a strong penchant to decide what 'truths' you want to embrace to ensure personal happiness.
If my comments are ever too intrusive, please just say so. Perhaps I can be too bold.

It's the scope: often particular, but always with an eye to the general 'game'. Librans move like pieces on a chess board, with 360 degree vision, seeing innumerable ways to get from A to Z. And there's no such direction as 'backwards'.
I'm not sure whether that makes actual sense, but I've got a general idea what I mean. To be honest, it kind of sounds like the pith of a poem. I might pursue it.
BTW, I really like that 'Bacon' quote in your Bio.

As someone who knows why a person would take Abilify, I am sympathetic to the trap. The constant nagging of mental illness sucks our energy and shoots us out a cannon. Like a spinning top always at the edge and never fully upright.

brimful of agitation that rightly puts the reader on edge. The title I had to Google but the word itself could almost not be a brand name - to be abilified etc. Excellent poem Kealan.

This is lovely- thank you for taking me back to my childhood! Although, to be fair, I never really lost my vivid imagination. Of course, you left that for the reader to decide. Very clever, you could read it twice and "it" would be two different things, depending on your mood.
