OUR STREET
Theres a pub on the corner
A shop across the way
A patch of grass and monkey bars
Were the children play
No ball games signs
They still play ball
Neighbours don't really mind at all
Neighbourhood watch man two doors from the end
And his little dog his bestest friend
The polish lady who's always knitting
On her step a cat's always sitting
The tie dye artist always covered in pain...

Division Street
I heard that telephone ringing
at the one remaining box down on the street
down on Division Street
If one of us answers the call
they ain’t coming back
whichever one of us goes to
answer that phone
they ain’t coming back
I woke up restless in the night
opened a window for some air
the whole city poured straight in
over siren wail and drunk's lament
I could hear that ringing sound

Weird Sisters
Weird Sisters
when did we four last meet
with doctor martins on our feet
hubble, bubble trick or treat
kiss and tell arms to greet
looks that kill in a heartbeat
concrete steps as a seat
stir the cauldron feel the heat
cool as fuck neat neat neat
no surrender no retreat
angel faces so petite
whiplash smiles sugar sweet
weird sisters of the street
