A lovely twist at the end, John. The start reminded me of Alan Bennett's 'There's always that little bit in the corner you can't get at' from Beyond the Fringe.

I enjoyed this, Ray. I used to work at Euston Square. In those days the Mineworkers' Union HQ was just up the road. Tony Booth - the original Scouse Git.

Haha! Celebrity encounters are great currency as explored here Ray. The problem is knowing what to say.
I once met John Sebastian in a bar and unforgivably told him he was part of the soundtrack of my generation (I know toe curling eh?).
He play punched my arm and said
Awww Man!!!

Some bitter truths here Greg. Uncharacteristically expressed, but sadly there are always the trotted out phrases, like "we are aware of the situation, or we have millions invested already" etc. It is a fact that water is so easily contaminated and so disposable - but the tide is changing.

From where I'm sitting, Greg, you did well to mention it. I suppose it's the problem with taking back control; it depends who's doing the controlling (or isn't, currently, it seems).
'Offishial' has echoes of Boris Yeltsin, for whom everyone is quite nostalgic now.
