This is about the West losing interest in the Ukraine war I think., which is exactly what Putin is banking on.
Not about class war, or maybe Uilliam is right.

Firstly, it feels so good to read your poem after such a long time, my friend!
This is such a beautiful, heartfelt poem, and a wonderful dedication indeed. The ending of it really moved me!
You had once called me your friend, and I'll forever be one.
Thank you.đ»

Ah yes, "our people".
For 13 years, our people, the UK's little people have been put last. Now those reponsible want to divide us with hate and envy to distract from their misdeeds....time for another war, that'll show their plastic patriot admirers how much they care for us...Yemen anyone? Argentina's such old hat!

Very familiar territory Eric. My family were the equivalent to strangers living under one roof. Belonging nowhere and everywhere simultaneously is the fate. You are more kin to water. Flow where you choose. The path you take is where your meant to be. Water has the power to choose its own path and only it can create the story of its journey. Nothing in life is permanent only flexible.
I liked the poem, Eric. Enjoy your path.

Oh Ray, I think you've opened up a very big can of worms here. Music gets into people whether they like it or not!
For example, why does one suddenly break out into a version of the intro to Layla without any forewarning, why?
That bloody puppet has a lot to answer for!
Great piece by the way!

This poem is about how Harry might have felt at the end of Order of Phoenix, this is something that I thought he would be feeling.
Padfoot is the Marauder name of Sirius Black who is Harry's godfather. Cedric Diggory was a Hogwarts Champion in the Triwizard Tournament who dies at the end of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Delusion, the fuel of celebrity
Illusion, a pill easily swallowed
Confusion, the party we all attend
Bemusement, all we have to share
Amusement, playthings of the powerful
Anti-movement, left and right divide us
Stagnation, its always been this way
Castration, no way to create change
Damnation, how it will always be
Purgatory, perpetual insanity
Transitory, hope and love and life condemned
Memento mori, something to look forward to

Thanks, Steve.
My mum always drilled into me that your "health is your wealth".
I consider myself to be wealthy, in that he NHS saved my life on two occasions: at my birth, and some years ago, enabling me to continue providing for my family, pay off our mortgage and to keep a roof over our heads.
The current shower have vowed to destroy everything that made that possible, hence the social problems we now see in the UK.

Mock ye not John!
I for one, eagerly await my chance to enjoy that singular benefit of Brexit; to sup a pint of wine at the Unicorn Ranch bar instead of all that foreign muck in litres!
Speaking of pressure; I was always taught in maths to not mix my units, so condsider the following scenario:
Iâm in âspoons supping in imperial measures; I wish to nip upstairs to take the proverbial; how should I go about it...to be specific, regarding pressure and flow, should I work in:
a. pounds per square inch (psi), or in millibars (mbar)
b. in pints per second, or in litres per minute?
or carry on as normal?

House prices have risen from approximately four times average earnings in the 1990's to nine times or more in recent years, and home ownership has fallen as a consequence. A third of millennials, it is suggested, may never be able to afford to buy their own home, and half of them will still be renting in their 40's.
Our generation(s) have sleepwalked into a world where our children will not have the opportunities that we did. They regard homeowners as wealthy, because that's what they are.
But yes, Reggie's Ghost, the banks do very well out of mortgage lending.
I find Gary Stevenson's YouTube channel very informative on all this stuff.

human inter-action.

Ha...poetry not in motion! I am particularly aware of how
readily the medicos are partial to recommend their various
"treatments" for this common "later in life" condition whilst
being apparently (or intentionally?) unaware of the vital
importance of diet & homeopathic alternatives in combating it
and preventing any worsening towards invasive disease that
is made so much of in their oft-seen advertisments on TV and
in print. A practical hint in closing: A better more "resolving"
stream can be obtained by pinching the male organ immediately behind the glans. This serves to build up some
useful pressure and results in a more forceful completion.
Give it a try when feeling not quite done. As things stand (no pun intended) you have the personal equivalent of the political
inadequacy that is their p..s poor approach to Brexit. đ

Another beautiful poem to your growing collection, Tim. The concept here is very interesting; a lot can happen in the blink of an eye, pleasant or poignant. The lines, "Our lives are full of spontaneous events
Tiny little snippets of time without hints", is so very true. And in response to the last line, I feel that there are "moments before the moment" in which we truly feel the rush of emotions and feelings, the topic which I'm going to write about in the near future.
Thank you, I loved it!
