Biography
Just finishing my 4th Hillsborough Poetry book, in which Brian Reade from the Daily Mirror has kindly supplied me with a foreword. Will return to writing lots of other stuff now I think my Hillsborough projects have reached a conclusion. Love writing things about my hometown of Liverpool, my own personal experiences, my children etc etc. Also I have written lots of supernatural poems, which is something that really interests me. Love all types of music, especially love listening to the lyrics of certain writers. John Lennon, Marc Bolan, Dylan, Stuart Adamson,Nicks and Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) and a host of others. More recently I think Christina Perri writes amazing lyrics. Currently putting a book of poetry together for the charity RoadPeace, this follows on from book Road Safety and Awareness, dedicated to 6 year old Bobby Colleran from Liverpool. Now working on a compilation tribute book Ken Dodd, which include about 40 of my own poems. All proceeds from my books go to various charities.
All poems are copyright of the originating author. Permission must be obtained before using or performing others' poems.

BTW. I would think old Doddy is spinning in his grave.
Together with Cilla, what is the world devolving into?
Mike, it is good to see you back posting.
Inspired by so much wrong and undoing.
You recent poems ring a bell... A warning bell!
Hopefully, the sleepyheads will hear it and wake up.
Keep up the great work

Awesome way to use your proceeds.?
I'll try to catch up with some more of your work, Mr. Bartram. Your Bio is very interesting.
Hello Mike, I have spent sometime reading several of your poems and felt impelled to write and say how much I both enjoyed and found them interesting. I also use a rhyming style and often use my poetry as a voice of protest. There must be a certain affinity here but a separation on some issues which is only natural. Thank you for these poems. I hope to read more as you continue to write them. Keith
