Honey Boy
Honey Boy was a wonderful cat.
Honey- orange in color,
he loved to stay home
and play with the children,
frolic with our beagle
or purr on our laps.
Sometimes he stayed out late
for nighttime romances,
but he always came home
eager for food and a cozy bed.
Over the years he mellowed
with a touch of grey here and there.
He left on a summer night
and never returned for...

Nosy Nellie
"Ooo, can I see?" she asked with a grin
I had no choice but to let her in
I had opened the door a bit too wide
And she was able to peek inside.
What she saw was really nothing
But, she just had to make it something.

Our Valued Lawn
You only really win, having lost.
On the front lawn, all is identical until you notice it.
Every other blade you see its 50 shades greener than your own.
