When owls hoot
Up to four when cocks crow
Surely I will be kept awake,
To watch the secret play
Of the conscious and unconscious.
However, I will not see
The queer performance inside me
As a mere dream in the night.
If I long for better plays,
More will I wander dur...

Mirror
Old wounds have begun to heal.
This new life feels unreal.
The shadow hanging above my soul.
I was once trapped within a role.
The wounded one full of anger
Dragging his worthless anchor.
Behold look into the mirror.
Now gaze upon your own error.
You thought you couldn't stumble
But it's the season to be humble.
No time for embracing illusion.

Layers
I’m gonna be so pretty for you,

As one layer falls off and tumbles to the ground -
Hugging your feet
Like a lash of waves.
I’m gonna be so pretty for you,
Let me be pretty for you,
I will be the prettiest I’ve ever been,

As one layer of flesh peels off, along with her clothes.
