Thank you Stephen
He is my best friend. It is very hard watching him grow old. He is a spicy Norfolk terrier losing the pep in his step. I am grateful for each day I have left with him. He has made my world a better place.

Whilst we all love to look at a beautiful face, we are often put off by what comes out of the mouth!
Beauty is many things not just appearance.
A nicely considered piece Ghazala

A broken heartache will always stay
Trying to mend the cause of it can help and
ease the pain of past mistakes
The healing process will always look for answers
words inside the letter give vital clues as to why.❤

Hugh,
A poem which pieces together well the present situation throughout the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. The relentless Israeli onslaught continues with no consideration for the consequences of such violence. It simply suits there ultimate goal to rid Israel of all Palestinians whether they be Christian or Muslim. Christmas means nothing to them so why should they care? A ruthless fascist government is in charge.
Thank you for highlighting this tragedy.

Oh how I agree Ghazala.
A friend of mine was recently in tears because she felt she didn't conform to those twisted ideals...she confided in me that she suffers from a condition which she claims affects her "looks".
She is indeed, a kind, generous soul, whose beauty as you suggest, comes from within.💐

A cataclysm in every sense of the word.
As a teenager in my religious studies, I was taught that as well as committing sin through acts of comission-one may also commit sins of omission.
Powerful people in the UK, who are staying silent, some, because they are in the pay of the Israeli state, are as guilty as hell of the latter.

I have been campaigning to get the UK government to stop turning its back on the people of Gaza and Israel and to demand a ceasefire. I wrote the poem below out of this struggle:
My child asked for food. They said “Eat rubble”.
My child asked for water. They said “Drink dust”.
My child asked for a future. They gave her ten minutes.
She went to school, but the school was bombed.
She came back home, but her home was bombed.
She begged for peace, and they gave her silence.
