An atmospheric poem of discovery ( especially self-discovery), Rasa. Very enjoyable.

Apologies to the Bard on the weekend of his birthday.
This is the hag, when maids lie on their backs, that presses them and learns them first to bear, making them women of good carriage.
Peace, peace, John Coopey, thou talk’st of nothing.
True, I talk of dreams, which are the children of an idle brain, begot of nothing but vain fantasy, which is as thin of substance as the air.
Enjoy your Sunday JC

Dolphin Moon
How we love your Dolphin Moon the parting of the waves The shore where our future lies the grass among our graves
Let me take you to the sea where we float so merrily and smile and wave on lost souls saved the parting of the waves
Dolphin moon sing the tune let me see thee lie Dolphin Moon not too soon no more tears goodbye
How we love your Dolphin Moon down the hatch old friend can’t wait to see you again when the pain is at an end
Dolphins sing your melody the prisoner’s sufferings cease just for a glimpse of a Dolphin free surfing on the Ocean Sea

Thanks to the continued comments, John B, John C and MC.
It's important that festivals like the Proms showcase new music and of course the choice will not be to everyone's taste. It is unfortunate that many fine composers (thanks for highlighting George Lloyd, MC) do not get their music played at these events, while some overrated junk (Boulez, for example) is constantly stuffed down people's throats. Music, and what makes it enjoyable, is subjective, like so many things.
Having said that, the reaction to 'Panic' smacked of intolerance and a grim resistance to anything new or unfamiliar.
Thanks to Rudyard and Holden for liking this piece.

“Mighty is the charm
Of these abstractions to a mind beset
With images, and haunted by herself
And specially delightful unto me
Was that clear synthesis built up aloft
So gracefully.”

If you want brilliance, try George Lloyd's Symphonic Mass - or
my favourite, his 11th Symphony...with a finale the composer
referred to as "the light at the end of the tunnel we all hope to see". Then ask yourself why the BBC Proms has continually
neglected this music, except for a nod during the centenary
of his birth. It's a state of mind, I suppose, but I much
prefer George's optimistic stoicism that saw him survive near
death and medical loss of hope after his Arctic Convoy cruiser
HMS Trinidad was mortally wounded by a rogue torpedo and
his Royal Marine comrades drowned in oil at their battle
stations deep within the hull of the ship.

Thanks, Kevin. Not sure I’ll make this one. We might be on holiwags, although a funeral might stop us going (silver lining and all that).

That sees them fancying someone who'll
Make them laugh by playing the fool?? 😊

Thanks, John and Bethany. It's not exactly a toe-tapper, I agree, John, but I am amused by the idea of a few thousand Sir Bufton Tuftons all ranting at the Beeb at once.
