Dystopian clouds tripped the lowly peaks,
hesitating to halt and deluge the thanksgiving.
On a patch of green,
shafted light transfixed the sacred ground.
The hollowed earth a welcome bed,
patiently it waited, his lifetime to now.
The open mouth of eternity yawned,
neither smiling or sad, it welcomed rest.
Wem moss like incense filled the air,

The Rose opened its heart petal by petal
unfolding its virtues to the naked eye
You opened your heart page by page
unfolding your virtues to my soul
even sealing it with a loving kiss
on that fateful day
It was only to last seven weeks
