If Alexa spoke to Siri, would the conversation go on all day?

John you have exposed the self righteous and heartless mindset of our society. Those born into 'normal' families feel that they can take the credit for their 'normality' and self belief, they look down on those who have had to go it alone, who's lives are plagued by lack of guidence and self confidence.
I agree with Ghazala's comment - her kindness shines through her words.

Cats and dogs get better healthcare than UK citizens.
Glad to see we've got our priorities right as a nation!

After what he has lived through in recent times he must be demented. He probably needs a good feline tranquilizer.

A poem which seeks to advise and encourage which so many need in a world where despair is so prevalent. The final stanza is the apt for a conclusion as it calls the reader to seize the moment, as there is no time to delay or procrastinate. Wise words.
Thank you for this

There has to be someway of expressing disgust or despair John. What better way for poets than through poetry? I somewhat disagree with your viewpoint although I know there is much to unpack within it. One voice is lost in the melee of propaganda but individuals need to know they are not alone in their feelings. Many voices may contribute to a counter view. I am tempted to think of the Anti Vietnam movement from within the USA. I am, also conscious that it is eaasy to bleat from the armchair. Any Russian who speaks against this invasion is a hero in my simplistic view. Thanks for bringing it to our attention Greg.

If you find yourself consigned to a heap it's best to walk round it Keith I have found. Your own self respect is what counts, self management and belief not blind acceptance of the seemingly inevitable, though I agree it is hard work sometimes. I usually walk round with a film camera; young people often comment and it and I feel validated.! Happy new year to you.
