her eyes are storms
her arms are sleeves
her heartbeat can be heard through her chest as it beats

her tongue is a knife
but the softness is beneath
under the lipstick she hides behind and the rouge on her cheeks

but she feels the rain drops from her storms
the needles that drew on those sleeves
the heart when it skips a beat
the lipstick on her teeth
