giving up on a dream (Remove filter)
The Day After
It’s different now,
all the world around
cloaked in grey,
yet cool in the shadow.
Void of sound,
yet comfortable,
quiet,
reliable,
predictable,
sure.
Yes, things are very different…
on the day after you give up on your dreams.
