Just the Three of Us
Speaking to the man opposite
That lady in the corner
sitting like a stone statue
do you believe in ghosts?
Looking bemused he just smiled
unable to stand the pretence
I then sat near her
asking nervously Why so quiet?
She replied Well I never
when I saw you talking
I thought how very odd
seeing you too was alone.
