I'm Paul, 41 years old from Manchester (but living in Poulton-le-Fylde) Have been to WriteOut Loud at the Tudor in Wigan, now at the Old Courts and have recently started writing my own poetry.
14 years of being half of a couple destroyed terminated decimated Indescriminating illness, not caring who or what it tears apart. The fear The loneliness the darkness Then in the distance a glimmer a spark of hope lighting up the shadows Could it be? You taught my heart to love again, penetrated my barriers Let me become the man I was always supposed to be. You saved my life Although you would never see it like that You taught my heart to love again.
