THE CRACK IN THE SHELL
A fragile dance on eggshell ground
I tread so light, without a sound.
Your moods, a storm I must appease
My own heart silenced, put at ease.
Each whispered word, a careful art
To shield your easily-bruised heart.
I build a wall to hold me in
Lest my true feelings cause a din.
But gentle steps and muted sighs
Don't quench the ache behind my eyes.
My own emoti...

BORN OF DUST AND SUN
A land stretches bare before my eyes,
woven with golden grass, tough from time.
Scattered thorns crown stick-thin trees,
silent watchers in the heat’s slow climb.
To the left, an old acacia sways,
wide and worn, its branches home
to birds that hum forgotten songs,
soft against the air’s dry moan.
Green fights brown in a losing war,
choking und...

FEBRUARY'S FLIGHT
It's February again, so brief yet bright
With love in the air and dreams taking flight.
The days rush by like a fleeting song
Gone before we hold them long.

Poetry i
Poetry is considered by many to be one of the most meaningful and expressive forms of art. It possesses the ability to evoke a wide range of emotions and responses from its audience, including reverie, melancholy, humor, and even anger.
By arousing such a variety of sensations, it is intimate yet universally relatable.
This artistic discipline allows one to explore the aesthetic qualities...

Give me a Kiss
Come, kiss my lips
where words tremble
and kisses are reborn
Come and leave it here
on the edge of my skin,
where desire melds with pleasure
Give it to me,
and let it fall like rain
that slips like a secret,
between my skin
Give it to me softly,
in this nightfall,
as I burn
and die for you

A SLOW DISAPPEARANCE
There is nothing worse than the feeling of hopelessness—
It eats you alive, chip by chip, piece by piece
Until the light flickers out
Leaving only darkness.
A vast, devouring void
Swallowing thoughts, feelings, memories
Until nothing remains but numbness.
Silence settles in.
And then—death.
I've been dead for as long as I can remember.
"It...

VISIBLE WALLS
High walls, shielded by glass panes
Sharp suits worn by the wealthy elite
Fresh air, sealed within concrete rooms
Elegant words, spoken with intellect and grace
From below,we gaze upward, watching as planes soar
Feeling small, consumed by uninvited jealousy
Hands up, shielding from the relentless sun above
Dreaming of roofs over our heads.
How absurd, how outdated...

Meaning Of Life
What is the meaning of life?
Why is it that I choose to write...
Poetry, of which no one may care?
Poetry, of which I may never share?
I guess the only thing that matters
In life is that I finally, at last
Get it right. And Poetry...
Is just a means... of getting there.

KICK OF LIFE
However do I spill this?
Do you see how thin I look?
My eyes are blind
I hear loud noises every now and then
Like a train of loaded thoughts passing through my brain.
Yes, I also can't breathe well on Fridays
When I see Mr. Renfield
Feeding his mule
With grass from our farm.
When I decide to take my life
You'll know
That all along
The signs were there-

Millennials
we are a generation of brain rot meme lords
we say that we can play guitar
but, we only know 4 chords
we've popularized school shooters
idolized and glorified weak and worthless leaders
we're toxic antagonists surfing fragile buried wires
our brains washed by computers
clout chasing criminals streaming to our viewers
six months in prison but we copped another sponsor
we're desensiti...

SUPPLICATION
I yearn for Him
Head between my knees
Bowed deep in prayer.
But words get stuck in my throat
My thoughts scattered, incoherent.
While my mouth moves, I know not what I say.
I murmur and hope He listens
Listens to the pain hidden behind my murmurs
Listens to my heart's silent cries
The tears shed in secret
And the thoughts yet unsaid .

Have you ever waited a long time?*
As months chased after years, your waiting neared the full ten-year mark.
Have you ever prayed long into the night, only to weep when your prayers go unanswered?
Has the inability to reap the material and spiritual rewards of your efforts ever weighed like a stone in your chest?
Sometimes, a person feels unbearably heavy, as if tons of burdens rest upon their shoulders—
the weight of injustice...

HYMN OF THE RISING SUN
Hail to all that liveth
Give thanks for a new rising sun.
Drive revolutions toward destiny
And war, a stake in the ground.
Banish all that speaks of evil
And crown the peaceful at heart.
Let the mountains tremble in truth
Let the rivers sing of justice
Wash in waterfalls of sweet freedom
For you are the flame that will not die
The voices that rise in unity

Perturbation
Every room I enter feels like a stage, and I’m the actor that forgets the lines
The constriction gnawing in my throat as I feel the acid burn
I see their faces alight with joy, reeling in echoes of my defeat
I bat my eyes, look to the floor with crumbling hands, the nails bitten off
If only I could peel away the skin of doubt and wear something lighter
Tear away the facade of perfection t...

THE LAST QUESTION
Who am I, but a reflection in the water-
A sealed bottle of uncertainty and misdeeds?
Who am I, but a drifting log on a chunk of earth
Clothed and fed by the same enigmatic soil?
Who am I, but a drop in the sea
Salty and adrift in the heart of a storm?
Who am I, but a past unfolding in the future
Scorned and praised by minds that scarcely understand?
Who am I,...

THE ALCHEMY
An intimidated heart recoils from his touch,
While a ravenous heart surrenders to hunger-
An experiment beyond the weak
A lesson to the fools
To those of love and hate.
Trembling like a loose leaf
Later trampled, buried in the soil
Lost among moss and dead trees.
A forgotten prayer whispered to the wind
A wish lost to the endless night.
Father, Father

The GOP's Spiral: From Grace to Grime
This poem wants to explore the transformation of the Republican Party (GOP) from its days of moral and political leadership—abolishing slavery, defending civil rights, and promoting national unity—to its modern iteration, marred by populism, greed, and divisive rhetoric. Through examples like Lincoln, Eisenhower, and Reagan, it contrasts past accomplishments with today’s corrosive trends, embodied...

The Triple Passage of Mortality
Inspired by John Donne's sermon Death's Duel, this poem examines the profound dimensions of death: deliverance from its grip, sanctity within its grasp, and redemption through Christ's ultimate sacrifice. Rendered in a solemn yet reflective tone, it contemplates the mortal journey towards eternal life.
When first we breathe, the womb becomes a gate,
Where life begins—a trembling, fragile st...

THE TORCH OF TIME
A grandmother's gaze,
Discerning yet soft, like dusk settling on the earth,
A mood both perplexing and warm,
Questions suspended in the air,
Begging to be heard
By youthful, open ears.
Brown, green, blue eyes—
All belonging to her,
All resonating within her,
Each holding stories untold,
Whispers of time woven in her veins.
Wisdom gathered...

// My Unshakable Anchor //
To Akshita,
You are my cousin, but those words don’t define
The bond we share, rare and divine.
More than family, you’re my truest friend,
A place where my chaos finds its end.
In childhood, you stood a little apart,
But time wove you deeply into my heart.
You didn’t play, we were just two names,
Yet now, we are one in life’s vast games.
Now you’re the one who sees my soul,

BEYOND THE DOOR
Waiting for him is my only way to hold on
Sitting outside his door, heart racing for it to open.
This feeling, ineffable to others, is mine alone to bear.
When his lips move, my soul finds peace
And I smile like a fool, unaware the seeds of betrayal are taking root.
My laughter echoes, strange and wild
Stirring hidden things in the dark.
The silence creeps in, always u...

Kaleidoscope Memory
Like the first mirror reflects whats before it
I live in the past
Anchored by my commitments
I failed to take that class
The angle of time constricts at a point
Silent in its steps despite how vast
Ranging millenia little by little
The promise is a lie you can not outlast
Through the scope I inspect my thought
Regret is not the word because I have made peace

UNSPOKEN MOMENTS
Dear diary,
Is Father coming today?
It's been a while.
Who will tell him that I got paid.
The days drift by,
And still, I wait
In this quiet mystery.

HOMECOMING
When the rain ceases,
And dusk creeps in quietly,
When the west glows with proud orange,
Then I'll know—
It's time to go home.
I'll gather the flock and the herd,
Wade through the evening dust,
And down the hill I'll go,
With a heart easy to please,
A foolish smile on my face,
To a cabin at the edge of town,
Where my soul resides.

MIRED IN
A bony child, a sick child
Wades through muddy water, stumbles over battered roads
A quiet child, a trodden child

Runs after street vendors and dogs, cons the benevolent
A street, a war, a game to play.

A DANCE WITH DISSONANCE
It's duly noted that
An anomaly in life is met with
Strength, character...
And even marksmanship?
Is it wrong if I go to the shamans?
If knees are scraped, often from temple visits?
If I dine with monks, for a percentage of hope?
If a spark of my dignity is diminished, after
Crying to falling skies?
Soaking in their bitterness, God's valor ?
God's favor I hope?

A PATHLESS JOURNEY
Wherever the wind may lead,
That's where I'll follow, free.
To embrace the wild trees,
And hear the frogs' soft croak,
Becoming an explorer at heart.
Through meadows wide and rivers deep,
Where the sun and shadows softly meet,
I'll chase the dawn and greet the night,
With stars above as guiding light.
No map, no path, just endless skies,
A world unknown befo...

A Farewell to Youth
“A Farewell to Youth” is a heartfelt and introspective poem inspired by one of Sir Walter Raleigh’s poems. Drawing on themes of lost time, fleeting joys, and the inevitable passage of life, the poem reflects on the sorrow that follows the end of youthful days. Like Raleigh’s original work, it meditates on the melancholy that remains as the seasons of life change, leaving only memories behind. Thro...

FADING INTO THE NEW YEAR
A battle of loneliness, trapped in isolation
Heart shudders in fear, bowing to the cold.
The old year passes, fading into the new
Misgivings, demons, decay taking hold.
Eating disorders, bony hands
A forceful wind knocks breath from the land
On lazy winter afternoons...
Sweep, sweep away
Bow in prayer inside a four walled city.
Cries and shouts, desperation calls

THE SHADOW WITHIN
I walk among the shadows,
Shadows of lies, secrets, and ignorance.
Shoulder to shoulder, walking with strangers,
Faceless people staring through each other.
Somebody taps me,
Somebody calls my name—
But the voice is lost in the haze.
The real me is fading,
Melting into the vale,
A silhouette in the crowd,
Dissolving like mist at dawn.
I reach out, but the hand...
