Yesterday is distant, Tomorrow too
But it is neither of they, it's today and you
Are worrying which day it is needlessly
The days are spaced out and so are we

My dear friend po ☺
It honestly feels amazing to be back in the world of poetry. In my absence I have lost mum and gained a sister who was adopted during the awful times of mother and baby homes.
My first poem has helped me feel lighter. I'll be forever grateful for this amazing group.
I've missed you all deeply ?

OK I better put some clothes on then as it gets a bit chilly walking around the house naked and I'd dont think the neighbours like it. Xx

remove yourself

A basque is a piece of woman's underwear rather like a corset. They make one look sexy but they hurt like he'll to wear, my advice is not to wear them.

If you are centre of the universe then what about me, because I want to be centre of the universe, shall we have a fight. I don't want to as I think you will win. Unless its a food fight. I would win at a food fight. Especially if I buy a bucket of custard.

Thank you for the information. I did not know I was a cough drop. Have you found your socks yet? Have you ever tried on a basque, I warn you not to, you cannot breathe in them and they break your ribs. Do you think lockdown can make a crazy person crazier? Do you know shower caps are hard to find during lockdown. I again await your response.

Hi, Stephen! Thanks for your welcoming comment on my profile ? I’ve really enjoyed reading through yours! In particular, your segment “About each poem”- learning about where an artist finds their inspiration is one of my very favorite things! Your concepts are thought provoking and nostalgic. Looking forward to reading more of your pieces!

Hi Kristian, very much enjoyed reading some of your work.
I suspect there are umpteen survivors on WOL, of what you yourself have experienced treatment wise, and it is courageous of you hint at those experiences.
The increasing trend in this, adds, I am sure, an extra string to the pen of Blog.
Blessings.

A written poem
the heart may stir
its beauty in
a few kind words
A Poem is just
a thought transferred
the beauty is
that it occurred.

A hospital gown
it does appear
can expose a lot
and look quite queer
some will laugh
some brought to tears
gown turned around
shows front not rear!

Haha! The W is always there on my poems, but I'm signed in through the all-knowing Google which I'm registered to without the W, so when I comment it comes up with plain old Stephen Atkinson. Unlike the wonderfully poet-y sounding, er.. Stephen W...?And, that photo was taken a couple of years ago in a hotel room in Edinburgh!

without a period after the W
what happened to it?
did someone steal your period?
and what is that in the window behind you
a soccer field
a cemetery?

Aviva hi

The piece involves 3 individuals ( the window-cleaner) and there is an issue over finances. The violence preceded the visit of the window-cleaner.
Thank you
